FINN'S POV
I looked to f/n with a confused expression, giving the same look to PB. "There's... no... demon." I said lightly, going to grab f/n's hand. She jerked away from me and dropped her sword. A gumball guardian suddenly appeared in the window and the roof lifted.
"We have found the demon, Princess." It said in a robotic voice. PB lowered the scanner thing and lifted up her goggles.
"You... no wonder you healed faster than my tonics should have healed you... that symbol... it's adding up." Peppermint butler looked up at PB as she spoke, stepping out and looking f/n over.
"I... I swear I didn't know. I don't remember anything, honest!" She said defensively, looking to the princess. "You've got to believe me!"
"I do. Other wise you wouldn't have willingly gave us your name." She said and rubbed her chin in thought. "So you're a demon... That means that this is just your human form. Fascinating."
"She isn't a demon! I don't believe it! Your since thing must be broken!" I budded in angerily, picking up her sword and handing it back to her. "You're kind and awesome and brave and all that good junk! You're a hero!" She looked up at me with a sad look, a tear dripping down her face as she sniffled.
"Don't cry! f/n... please don't cry. I mean it, you're a hero! JAKE!" I hugged her to me and ran my hand trough her hair. Jake quickly came over and joined the hug.
"I'll leave you guys alone for a moment... this is a lot to take in. For the mean time I would like it is I could borrow that pendant, I might be able to do some research on it to see what it really means." Princess bubble gum said and pat f/n's shoulder as a sob shook her. She ripped it off her neck and handed it to the princess, hugging me back as she whimpered a cry.
The gumball guardian dropped the roof seeing as there was no real threat and retreated to it's original spot and princess bubblegum left with peppermint butler, leaving Jake and me to comfort our hero in tears.
"Hey, let's go home and eat Finn cakes, alright?" I offered with a soft smile. F/n looked up at me with a confused expression behind her tears.
"But... I'm a demon. Demons can't-"
"-No. You're a hero. Heroes do good and enjoy helping others. Tell me why you wanted to be a hero? For the fame? For the money?"
"... because I want to see people smile, and be happy."
"Is that how a demon thinks?"She slowly shook her head, though she seemed unsure. I sighed softly and hugged her tight. "Lets just go back home and try to relax. This is a lot to take in, I'm sure."
