Emma and the town (once upon a time/agents of shield fanfic)

Chapter 11

"Of course you made that up. I'm really a story book character" she says mocking me.
   "It was all true! I am!" I say.
"Then why aren't you in any story's?"
   "Because when my mom kid napped me she wiped me from everyone's memories."
"Yeah sure." Daisy won't stop laughing now. Did she really think I made that all up?
   'Hey, hey, we're the monkees. And people think we monkey around. But we're to busy a singing to bring anybody down....' My phone is ringing so I answer it.
   "Hello?" "Emma? It's Henry. Moms lost it and she took me to Maine! I know no one here. What happened to you?"
   Henry sounds worried. "Hey I'm just visiting some old friends did you not get my text? Anyway I'll come as soon as I can where are y'all?"
   "No I didn't get a text. Storybrook. Thanks Em'." Henry says and hangs up.
   "I have to go! Sorry Daisy. Thanks for the help." I say and run out the door and into the garage. "Fitz! I need you to drive me to a bus stop."
   "Ok Emma, but why?"
"I just need to go. Thanks cuz I owe you one." I say and we get in the car and drive to a bus station.

     We get to the bus stop and I go to buy a ticket. Fitz won't leave me though. "One ticket for Maine." I say.
   "Where in Maine?" The guy behind the counter says.
   I look at my gps and show the guy Storybrook. "Never heard of it. But I know the town around it. I'll get you a ticket there." He says. He has a heavy country accent that makes Fitz chuckle. "You got a problem, boy?"
   "No sir. Just a tickle in my throat." Fitz says after I elbow him. As we walk off he says to me. "I haven't heard a good country accent in a while. Remember when you had to go under cover as a country person."
   "How could I forget? You remind me every time I see you."
   Fitz looks down a bit and frowns. "I reall miss you Emma. You need to come back more often."
   "I miss you, too, Fitz. I have to go though. It's level 11. You understand?"
   "Emma I heard you talking to Daisy. Do you really think your a story book character?"
   "Come with me Fitz! We can spend a week or two together then you can go back."
   "Will you come back with me?" Fitz looks at me the same way he always looks at Jemma. Lovingly but hurt underneath it.
   "Will see when the time comes. I got an extra ticket hoping you'd come." I say holding up the extra ticket.
   "Ok I'll come." He says taking the ticket from me. I can't help but hug him.
   The bus pulls into the station and we board it. It's a very long drive but me and Fitz get to catch up on the events that have been happening lately. "No way? I don't believe it! My cousin on an alien planet? And he fought an alien?"
   "Yeah, it actually happened!" He says very excitedly.
   "Last stop of the morning! Everyone off!" A voice yells.
   We get a car and Fitz drives to the place I tell him. We pass the Welcome to Storybrook! Sigh and Fitz starts to look nervous. "Hey! What's wrong?" I ask.
   "Last time you came here you didn't come back for months." He says worried.
   "It will be ok." We stop in front of the hotel. 
The first thing I need to do is find Emma and Henry.  "Let's check in, then I have some people you should meet." I say and we get out of the car and walk into the hotel.
   The bell rings as we open the door. "Welcome to Granny's bed and breakfast. I'll be with you in a moment." Red says.
"Take your time, girl." I say in a fake voice I know only she will recognize.
A different fake voice comes back to me. "I never thought I'd hear that again." And then I'm tackled by her in a hug. "Where have you been? You disappeared from us in the forest saying you had to find Hook, but he showed up with out you. We all have been worried!"
"Seems like you do that a lot Em." Fitz says.
"Who's this Em?" Red looks at Fitz then back at me.
"Ruby this is my cousin, Leopold Fitz." I say and Fitz sticks out his hand to shake hers.
"Nice to meet you, Leo. I'm Ruby, Red, what ever you want to call me. Just don't call me late for dinner." Red says smirking.
"Ha. That's a good one. You hear that Em? Just don't call her late for dinner." Fitz says laughing harder then he probably should.
"Anyway, we need a room please. Also are the Swans staying here?" I ask.
"Yes, here is a room key. Your normal room. They are right next door." Red says handing me the key.
"Thanks, Ruby." I say grabbing my bag and Fitz's hand leading him up the stairs.
"Wow! She's really pretty." Fitz says looking behind him as we walk up the stairs.
"Yeah. The doctor of this town thinks so also. They are pretty close." I say trying to get his mind off of her.
"Ok, mom I'll see if they have extra I...." The voice is cut of because I smack right into him and it knocks both of us down. "Ice. Hey" the voice finishes.
"Hey." I say smiling into his brown eyes. "Come here often?" I say standing up and grabbing his hand.
"No, but if you do I'll come more. What's your name?" The boy asks. His brown hair is all messed up from falling on the floor, and Fitz is looking back and forth between us trying to find out what's happening.
"Oh, Henry! I missed you!" I say hugging him.
"Hey! My names Henry, too! Is it short for Henrietta or something?" He says pulling away from the hug smirking and looking into my eyes. "I missed you, too" he whispers. Then walks away smiling back at me.
"Who was that?" Fitz asks.
"Oh just a friend of mine." I say and the door Henry walked out of opens.
"Emma? I thought I heard your voice! Who's this? Come in!" Emma Swan says.
"This is my cousin Leo Fitz." I say as I walk through the door. "Hook!" I say as I see my uncle sitting on the sofa.
"Em! It's good to see you. Sir," he nods at Fitz and Fitz nods back.
"I guess you ran into Henry on the was up?" Emma say looking happier then I've seen her in a while.
"You can say that again. Haha I smacked into Him hard. Where's Neal?"
"Still missing, love." Hook says.
"Oh." I say looking at the floor. I really wanted to talk to him about the dream I have been having.
"Why don't you and your, cousin is it? Join us for dinner tonight? My mom and dad are coming." Emma asks.
"I'd love to. How Henry? I'm guessing he doesn't have his memories back yet."
"Not yet." Hook tells me. "Why don't you keep him busy today while we do some work?"
"Awesome I'll show him around. Teach him what he taught me." I say. "Fitz do you mind?"
"Not at all. What work will you be doing?" He asks Hook and Emma.
"We are trying to find someone." They both answer.
"Fitz is great at finding people! You should help them Leo." I tell him.
"Sounds fun." He says. And we make plans for the day. Then Henry walks through the door.
