It's all like a bad dream. The going back in time, my adventures with hook and Emma. But the end is completely fuzzy. Last thing I remember is waking up and going to town.
"Morning Em, how'd you sleep?" Swan greats me. I stare at her with a weird look. She's hiding something.
"Did we really go back in time?" I ask her.
"What are you talking about? You must have had a good dream." She lies and I can tell.
"Hey mom, hey Em, want to go on a picnic today?" Henry asks me. He'll tell me the truth I just know it!
"Sure! I'd love, too." I say smiling at him he laughs then walks out the door. He still won't tell his mom he likes me as more then a friend so he acts so distant from me around her. It really hurts but I know there's a reason.
"I'm going to head into town. I need to talk to someone." I tell Emma and head out the door. As I walk out side the cold air nips at me. Then something grapes my arm and I'm pulled into a kiss that warms my whole body. I look up and see Henry smiling down at me.
"Hey beautiful, do you know how much I missed you when you were gone?" So it wasn't a dream. "Oh man I shouldn't have said that." Henry says with panic.
"It's ok Hagrid, why does your mom claim it's not real?" I ask.
"I'm not sure, her and hook won't tell us what happened over there. They just say we have to pretend it never happened. Do you remember anything?" He cocks his head to the side. I shake my head slowly.
"I just remember it happened. But it's like a dream and I have no clue how I made it home."
"You just showed up a few days before hook and mom. I don't know why." I nod as Henry says that.
"Why don't you tell your mom about me and you?" I ask out of the blue as we head towards our hill.
"I'm not sure, I just feel I shouldn't." He answers me. "Just trust me Em." So maybe there isn't a reason.
Bam! A flash of light is before us and Thor lands on the ground. Henry's eyes get real wide. "Hey Thor. What are you doing here?" I ask. He's supposed to be in New York with the Avengers. After Russia they have been busy training the new guys.
"Your mother. She's screwed up big time and you must come with me now!" He demands stepping forward. He grabs my waist and the next thing I know light is trapping me and I land on Asgard.
"Seriously! No warning just take me to Asgard? I didn't even get to explain to my friends what's happening? I don't even know what's happening." I yell at Thor.
"I know it is confusing but in time you will understand. Now Emma daughter of Phil come with me."
"You finally learned my dads first name!" I sarcastically say. Thor rolls his eyes and leads me though the palace.
"Wait here." He demands and steps inside Orin's room.
"A sight I truly thought I saw the last of." Loki says coming out of the shadows. "I honestly didn't believe the rumors that Thor was bringing you here. But look, here you stand." His green eyes look me up and down.
I scowl. "Loki. I'm still mad at you for my dad." He smirks and hugs me. It's true. I was still mad at him about Coulson, but I got to know Loki well during my time on Asgard when they faked my death. (So well I might add even I believed it.)
"I've missed you so much, Emma." Loki says and leans in to kiss my cheek. "Come with me. We must talk."
We need to catch up. Loki's voice says in my head.
I have to wait on Thor. I think back. He just smirks and grabs my hand pulling me down a corridor. I've missed you, too, Loki.
I can't imagine how lonely you must be my dear. His voice says. Heimdall tells me of the boy you have been seeing.
He won't even tell his mother about me Loki. How could he do that?
Maybe, he's scared. But it doesn't matter. Father has said you can't return to earth again. Not after your trip to your past. Loki says in my head.
"Loki, what happened there?? Why is it so bad?" I ask aloud.
"Your mother wiped your memory but it still comes back. I see it in your eyes." He answers.
     "Tell me what happened."
"That, I can't do. But let me tell you a story, children have been told this story for hundreds of thousands of years. It's about a beast. A monster. It was created by the most evil god. But the monster grew so that even he couldn't control it. His porpoise for the beast was to take over the gods so he could rule. But the beast just killed its creator and started hunting the rest. The gods fought the monster for years. Trying hard to kill it, but realizing it was impossible came up with another solution. They discovered they could separate the soul of the beast and it's body. So that is what they did. But what they didn't know was the beast's soul found a young baby and took over it. The souls fought for 16 years in the child and finally the monster won. The gods realized what happened and started the young child's life over hoping the monster would be gone. But 16 years later the monster won again. They continued this cycle until they figured out that if they froze the child's life right at 16 maybe the monster would freeze as well. So they started the girls life over one last time and as she reached 16 they froze her life. Now she is cursed to be 16 forever. Watching her loved ones grow old and die. Never belonging anywhere. And constantly fighting the little voice inside her head."
"That's an interesting story Loki but why do you tell me this?" I ask until it hit me. The words of Odin from the day I 'died' flowing back. 'From this day forward your life clock has stopped. It is for the protection of you, your friends, and Midgard.' "Loki, your not saying I'm.." I trail off.
"It was just a story Emma." He says but I see his small nod and know at that moment I'm not supposed to know and he's breaking the rules to warn me of something.
