Hermione

Draco and I walked throughout the castle for what seemed like forever. And it was just us, no one else. It was a strange feeling, being alone with him, but I was fine with that feeling. It gave me a few butterflies actually. "Yea. I was offered several jobs at the ministry after the war." I said to him. "Didn't notice Granger." He replied back, rather sarcastically. "I was offered Minister of Magic in 2000." I so stupidly said! It just came out, and I just--gah! "Oh! Wait please don't repeat that! It just came out, and I swore to the minister to keep it secret!" I cried frantically. What in the world came over me to just blurt that out?! "Calm down, I promise." Draco said. I was glad I could trust him now. Now that he had nothing to hide anymore. "So...erm...how have you been? What did you do over the summer?" I asked him. I wanted to at least start a conversation with him. "Fine. Cleared up as much as we could from the war." He paused for a moment, as if he was trying to remember something. He then sighed. "I was going to say something, but I forgot..." Draco said that as if it was really important, but I simply brushed it off. "It-it's fine. I'm sure you'll remember later." I replied. I really hope he remembers, because curiosity started to take over the topic in my mind. "Wait, do you hear that?" He said suddenly.
"Footsteps...they've dismissed the great hall. If I'm seen alone with you and the Weasel sees...he'll try to curse me faster than you can say Quidditch." He replied, rather quickly. "But last time he tried to curse you it backfired! He was throwing up slugs for hours!" I said. "That's true, but from what I've seen he's not so rubbish anymore. I need to head to potions now. See you later Granger." And then he ran. Just like that. I tried to call after him, but it didn't work. He was completely out of sight.
"Ah!" I screamed. Thank goodness it was just Ron and Harry. Ginny came up behind Harry and took his hand, as he took hers. "Where've you been 'Mione? I was looking all over the castle for you!" Ron said with a worried tone that really wasn't that necessary, but I went along with it and tried to explain. "You know I'm not big on getting publicity, Ron. I needed a break from all of it." I didn't mention Draco, knowing he would freak out. He didn't even listen. "You had me worried sick! You just got up and left without explaining why! And you didn't come back." What was up with him? "Ron, I did tell you and Harry where I was going! But apparently you didn't hear me. You were just busy telling everyone that I was your girlfriend! You're one of my best friends Ron, but I'm not a trophy to flaunt when I get an achievement." I could see, just out of the corner of my eye, that Harry and Ginny had gotten uncomfortable. They were just standing there, watching us argue. "Ron, we will talk about this later. We need to get to class." I murmured to Ron. "Fine. But you better have an explanation for just leaving like that." He replied, and then walked off to transfiguration.
Did he really just say that? I told him my explanation twice and he just completely ignored it! The nerve of him! I know what I need to do to get to the bottom of Ron's sudden behavior, and that is to talk to Harry. If he didn't know fully what was going on, he'd have a decent idea about it. I just don't know what to think about it at the moment, so I said to Harry and Ginny "Ugh. I am so sorry about that. It's just," I sighed. "Anyways, let's just get heading to class. Herbology, isn't it?" I asked Harry. "Yea. That's what Ginny has anyways. I've got transfiguration with Ron. I'll see you later 'Mione." He said. He kissed Ginny on the cheek and ran in the direction Ron had gone. "Ginny, what do you think is up with Ron?" I asked her, kind of desperately. "I honestly don't know. During the summer he was fifty-fifty with his feelings. He would be so upset and angry about..." She paused for a moment, and gulped. "Fred. And then the next he would be smiling from ear to ear about you. The fact that after all these years, he finally had you for something more. He loves you, he really does. I honestly do not know what's gotten into him." She replied. I could tell she was sincere by her eyes.
Eventually we reached the greenhouses, and sure enough, only half the class was here before us. Professor Sprout was in the corner preparing today's lesson. Looked like a mandrakes review, based on her movements. She looked like she was practically fighting for her life with the plant. We had herbology with Ravenclaws, so when we entered Luna had immediately tackled us in a hug. "Hi guys! What a lovely morning we're having! Hermione, are you ok? Did the rackspurts get to you this morning?" She said, in her light, airy, and kind tone as usual. "No, I'm fine Luna. I just had a...erm...conversation with Ron this morning. That's all. It-it's not a big deal." I said. "Are you sure?" "I'm sure, Luna." I assured her, hoping she wouldn't push the topic. "Alright then. But if you ever do get rackspurts, you know who to find." She said.
"Alright class, alright, settle down now." Called Sprout. "Welcome back to another year (and a safe one at that) at Hogwarts. Today we will be doing something somewhat easy. We will be doing a Mandrake review!" She exclaimed. You could easily hear a chorus a groans from the students, all having flashbacks to their second years. "Yes, yes I know. But it won't be as bad. Just keep your earmuffs on tighter and you'll be good! Speaking of which, Hermione dear, do you mind handing the earmuffs out to everyone?" She asked. "Of course not." I replied. "Excellent! Now, once we get everything passed out, we'll get started!"

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Personally, my favorite part would either be the unknown message from Draco, or the Romione drama. But that's just my opinion. Yet again, report ANY grammar mistakes please! And if want to leave a review, please do! Anyways, hope you guys liked the chapter!
