Chapter 14

Alex's POV
After my punishment from Conner i got up from my porch and went inside. I went striaght to the bathroom to see the damage. The only thing that anyone could visibly see was the busted lip and a bruise on my cheek. Yet when i lifted my shirt there were bruises splattered everywhere.
Conner probably broke some ribs, oh well. My head hurt really bad, so i went staright to my bed. I know i shouldnt sleep right after the "fight" if you want to call it that but i cant keep my eyes open. Im not going to school tomorrow. After that thought, it felt like my eyes got even heavier. Its like theres weights pulling my eyes downwards. I finally gave up and fell into unconscious.
Maddison POV
Only once in a blue moon will i ever wake up before my alarm clock. Today,for some reason, I did. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and then went to my closet. What am i in the mood to wear today?
I guess i'll wear my ripped jeans and grey shirt. I went back to my bathroom and just put mascara on. My hair was in natural golden waves, so i decided to leave it down. I grabbed my phone and bookbag and ran downstairs to see my mom in her pjs.
"Good morning" she sniffled.
"Good morning. Are you ok?" I asked.
"I think i have the flu, so im staying home today"she spoke. She sounded horrible.
"Ok um, get better" i walked out the door and found Carly sitting in her car on my driveway.
"Hey" i smiled, getting into her car.
"Whats up buttercup" she laughed, backing out and driving toward the school.
I laughed, glad to be back with my best friend. 
"Are you going to the party tonight?" Carly asked turning down the radio.
"Um i didnt even know there was a party, whos throwing it?" I asked.
"Stephani" she glanced at me smiling. I looked at her like she was crazy. I reached over and pressed my hand against her forehead.
"Are you ok, how are you feeling?" I asked kinda worried that my best friend was nuts.
She laughed.
" Im serious are you going?"
"Why would I go, i wasnt even invited ?"
"Becauseeee Grayson was invited and he invited us so technically your invited"
"I mean i guess" i then texted my mom telling her that i was gonna sleep over Carlys house.
"Im sleeping over your house"
"Ok"

I felt the car stop so i looked up.
"Were here" Carly sang. I rolled my eyes while getting out. I instantly met Conners eyes. I looked away and looked for Alex and the others. I found the others, but where was Alex? He probably slept in and hes running late.
"Whats up maddi" Grayson hugged me. I hugged back and thats when i saw that Conner was staring. I drew my attention away from him and back to my friends.
"You guys are going to the party for sure right?" Carly asked.
"Hell yeah" Samantha shouted whiled laughing. Grayson laughed along and in that moment they looked EXACTLY alike.
At lunch
"Has anyone heard from Alex?" I asked while sitting down at our lunch table.
"Nope havnt heard from him" grayson reponded while opening a bag of Doritos.
"Thats weird, he would've texted one of us about why he didnt come to school" i glanced around the cafeteria to see if maybe Alex was walking through the doors. I looked back at everyone and all glanced at each other.
"What?" I asked
"Nothing" carly began to ate her food.
After school
I met up with Carly at her car. Thats when i realized that Damian was walking away from her.
"Why was Damian here?" I looked at her while wiggling my eyebrows. She started to blush.
"Are you guys together " i yelled while smiling.
She gave a little nod.
"Holy crap since when!!" On the outside i was smiling and happy but inside i was mad and disappointed because she didnt tell me right then and there.
"Im sorry i didnt tell you but he wanted to keep it a secrete until he figured out if he actually loved me or not. He just came over to tell me that he loves me and he wants us to be together." She was blushing and smiling.
"Awwww" i felt better .
"Can we stop by Alexs house on our way to yours?" I asked while getting into the car.
"Sure"
We drove to his house in silence.
"I will stay in here" she spoke. I jumped slightly at the sound of her voice.
I nodded and got out. I walked up the steps and knocked. The door opened and there stood my best friend, with a busted lip and bruised cheek. He glanced at Carlys car and seemed to relax.
"Wha-what happened!" I gently touched his face trying to get a closer look. He winced a little so i backed up.
"I had to be punished" he whispered. Conner. He did this.
"Conner did this" i whispered yelled. He looked up and nodded. Oh hell no.
"Are you alright" i asked while thinking of different ways to kill Conner.
"Im fine Mad, dont worry" he hugged me.
"Im going to a party tonight so i will be texting you, I swear to god Alex if you dont text me back i will call the cops and make them come to your house and make sure your ok" i smiled backing up. He laughed.
"Alright, please be careful" he smiled and then closed the door.
At the party
"Wheres the kitchen?" I asked Carly.
"How am i supposed to know, do i look like a gps" she laughed pulling me towards a door. Luckly it lead to the kitchen.
"Im getting a water, you want one?" I asked going towards the fridge.I looked back and saw Carly missing. Great.
Its been 15 mintues since i lost Carly. I cannot find her anywhere. Everyone around me seems to be drunk, so talking to someone is out of the question.I havnt ran into Stephani yet so i guess thats good. The only reason im calm and collected is because im texting Alex. As I hit the send button to Alex, I ran into a body and spilt all my water on the person.
" oh my god im so so sorry" i looked up and saw an unfamiliar face. It was a dude with dark brown hair and grey eyes. To say he was hot is an understandment.
"Well hello" he spoke smiling. He didn't seem drunk, yet I still got a bad vibe from him, so i kinda took a step back.
"Im real sorry about your shirt, i will buy you a new one, but i have to go look for my friend" i started to walk away, but thats when he grabbed my elbow and pulled me into his chest. He put a rag over my mouth and i instantly felt dizzy,and passed out.
I woke up to darkness. Trust me its something you dont want to wake up to. Last time i checked my surroundings were supposed to be filled with drunk teenagers, not pure silence.
"Welcome to the Eastern gang headquarters " the voice said.
"Please let me go" i whispered
I heard a chuckle.
"Your not going anywhere"
