Chapter 27

Maddison's POV
Darkness surrounded me. Maybe it was because I was in the trunk or maybe because he put a sack over my head. Maybe both. I could be dead right now. The sound of an engine however told me I was still alive. Fucking Alex. I'm gonna punch him in the throat. I didn't bother screaming for someone. Im in a moving vehicle. Plus, there's tape on my mouth. Fucking fantastic. Not only will I most likely die tonight but I'm dying as a hungry woman. Maddison your in a serious situation and all you can think about is food. This is beautiful. I felt a small jerk. The car stopped and I could hear crunching footsteps coming towards me. The truck opened and the cold air hit me like a slap in the face. "I'm sorry about this Maddison, but I have to do this in order to keep you safe. Trust me you will thank me in the end" Alex spoke. Surprisingly he took the sack off my head. I glared at him. This used to be the person I looked for to play with when I was little. This used to be my best friend. Now? This is just my kidnapper. "Come on" he tried picking me up but I just threw him off. "I can do this myself you asswipe." I mumbled . He took the tape off but not the ropes that were tied around my hands. "Im sure your mother has taught you enough manners and has told you to never punch a girl" I yelled. He was surprised that I had said that and laughed. The fucktard started laughing. "I have a plan Maddison. A future. And if that means that I have to kidnap you for you to be in it with me then that's what I will do" he smiled and grabbed my arm. We started walking towards an abandoned barn. Trees surrounded us. There wasn't even a road. "Where are we?" I asked looking back towards him. "I'm not stupid Maddison I'm not going to just give you your location" he scoffed and opened the doors with one hand. "People are going to come looking for me" he sat me in a chair and tied me to it. "Couldn't you make this chair a little more comfortable, damn" I squirmed. The wooden chair was hard and hurt my ass. "Those people that are coming for you? They will die" he pulled out a gun and walked towards a table by the door. There was ammo displayed. He loaded the gun. "So if my mom comes in here you'll shoot" I whispered. He turned around."I will do what I have to do to keep you all to myself"

Conners POV
Alright boys. Alex kidnaped Maddison and we have to get her back. She stays alive at all costs.
"What about Alex?" Anthony asked.
"Leave him to me"
"Where is he?" Another asked
"Well I hacked into the cameras on all the roads in the area. He was driving on the highway going west. I have an area on where he may be." Anthony proudly stated. I laughed.
"Well. Let's go save Maddison" I dismissed everyone to their cars. Me and Anthony leading 10 other cars towards where my Maddison would be waiting.
"Everyone spread out. I want a team in the back of the barn. A team with me and everyone else on the sides. Careful boys we don't know what he has planned for us" I turned the Walkie off and left it in the truck. There was a small window a couple feet from the door. Enough for me to see Alex walking around. He looked like he was shouting on the phone. "We're going to have to get closer to take a shot." I whispered. Anthony nodded and followed my lead. I leaned against the exterior of the dull barn. "Get off the fucking phone and give me something to eat" Maddison yelled. I heard my boys laugh. There's my angel. "Shut the fuck up. I'm trying to get us tickets to Maine. If I hear another word from you I will put the tape back on you." Alex shouted back."Fuck Maine. And fuck you Alex I'm not going anywhere with you" I peeked in the window and his back was towards me but I could see Maddison. She didn't even have to try to look perfect. It was just natural. Her shorts were to short and her lips were red. She rolled her eyes and caught my gaze. Her eyes widened but stayed quiet. Good girl. She started mouthing something but I couldn't read her lips. Oh how I would love to just kiss her right now. Hold her in my arms. Her eyes darted towards the gun Alex was holding. Not the only one armed I see. "We are gonna just go in. He's armed so please try not to die" I spoke to my members. I have a slight prayer and busted the door open. Everything happened to quickly for my brain to process. One minute it's quiet the next gunshots are ringing. Silence. I look around and my members are dragging me behind a wall. Dust flying around I could spot Alex getting up near Maddison.The air went cold. I peeked from around the corner and could see blood coming out from his shoulder. Mine feeling sore but I wasn't shot. No one was except him. Good. "Ah shit" Alex cursed. I got up and walked towards him with my hands up. "Are you really that stupid to think that you could just barge in here and take her?" He laughed. "Not gonna let her go that easy". I stopped right when I was at least 10 feet away from him. I looked at Maddison and saw her whimpering. There was blood coming from her chest. Completely forgetting about Alex I stared walking towards her. "Stop right there or I will shoot" I stopped. "She's bleeding" I yelled. He quickly looked towards her. We were losing her. She was getting pale and her breathing rate was slowing down. He's distracted. Shoot him now. I pulled the gun from my waist and shoot him in the heart. All you could hear was the sound of Alex's body dropping and Maddison whisper "you killed him". I ran towards her as she fainted. The boys ran to help me untie Maddison. Shit. She was barley breathing. I swear to god Maddison you better stay alive.
