Chapter 19

Maddison POV

"Alright Maddison, eat first and then we will run some tests on you to see whats going on. Call me when when your done " the doctor, who i later found out was named Dr. Katy, spoke. My mom, Alex, and the other boy havnt left my side since i woke up. I guess their afraid of my falling back alseep and me not waking up. I looked at the food in front of me and dug in. I ate broccoli, rice, and turkey. It tasted alright i guess.
"So how are you feeling?" My mom asked.
"Im fine, now that i have food in me. Mom, i dont remember anything. I barely remember Alex." I glanced at Alex and the boy and continued to eat.
"Well, you were in a coma for a whole month, so i wouldn't expect you to just wake up perfectly fine" she checked her phone after hearing it ring.
"Im really sorry but my job wants me to work tonight. I will see you tomorrow " she kissed my cheek and said goodbye to the boys and walked out.
"So you dont remember me?" The boy asked. Alex sat there staring at me which left me a little uncomfortable. I shook my head.
"Alex can you lay next to me, i want to play with your hair" i asked shyly. I know its a weird thing to ask but for some reason i miss his hair. He smiled.
"You always did like playing with my hair" he layed next to me wrapping his arms around my waist. I started to play with his hair and then focused back on the other boy.
"Who are you and how did i end up here?" I asked. He sat down and started to speak.
"We werent a couple, but i was in love with you and i think you were starting to love me to. I am Conner Depth, we have known each other since, what elementary school?. I am in a real gang. Your friends Carly, Grayson, Samantha and Alex are in the gang also. Yes, my gang has killed people, but we have only killed the bad guys. We are the good guys. Carly, you and i was at a party. I guess you were texting Alex while you were there. I wasnt with you and neither was Carly so when you ran into the Eastern gangs leader, he kidnapped you. They beat you and sliced your arm. Later on my gang rescued you and killed all of the Eastern gang members. You fainted when you saw me kill the leader. You sufferd 3 broken ribs, a deep slice on your arm, and bruises. Im so sorry Maddison" he had his head in his hands by the end of his explanation. Well damn. Im a strong cookie if i survived all that. I looked down at Alex.
"Have you killed anyone?"
"No" he cuddled deeper into my side. I cant believe this. A murder is sitting in the same room as me, and he says that i was falling in love with him? Bullshit. I would never fall in love with a murder. Would I?
"Call my doctor, please." I asked. Dr. Katy strolled in smiling.
"Ready?" She asked.smiled i gave a forced smile.
"Yep" she asked me if i could stand which i could and made me change back into my clothes.
"Alright im going to ask you questions about your past and see how much you remember. This helps me figure out how much you do remember and how much you dont" Dr. Katy spoke sitting down and pulling out sheets of paper.

"What's your name?"
"My name is Maddison Lee Walker"
"How old are you?"
"Im 16"
"Who do you live with and why?"
"My mom, because my dad left us"
"Alright now i am going to ask you questions about your social life. How do you know Alex?"
"I dont know, i just had dreams about him, they were like memories im guessing" she nodded as she wrote down the information she just received.
"Do you know that other boy?"
"No"
"Are you in a relationship?"
"I dont remember"
"There were some of your other friends that came and visited. Their names were Carly, Grayson, and Samantha. Do you remember these people?"
"No, never heard of them, but i did have a dream about me, alex, a girl, and twins."
"Alright, i will let you go home today,you seem to remember things when something triggers a memory. If you need anything then please call me" she handed me a paper with her number on it.
"Thank you" i smiled and walked away. I went back to the room that i was staying in and saw Alex and the boy arguing.
"The doctor says that i can go home today" i glanced at the dude.
Alex smiled." Alright then lets get you out of here"
"I will drive her" the boy spoke
"The hell you are, shes going with me Conner" Alex snapped. He grabbed my hand and walked out, leaving Conner behind.
"Where are we going?" I asked getting into Alexs car.
"We are going to the store to get ice cream and candy then we are going to my house to watch movies."
I laughed. "Netflix and chill?"
"I hope so" he laughed pulling out of the parking lot.
"In your dreams" i laughed turning up the radio.
