*later that night at the concert*
'So how was the surprise date?' Perrie asked. 'what happened?' Eleanor said excitedly. 'spill already y/n!' Danielle said, demandingly.
The girls couldn't wait to hear about how you and Niall's date night had gone. You'd been unable to stop smiling, even though it'd been a few hours since. You still were in complete shock because of how wonderful the evening had been and was still. You knew Niall was absolutely hopeless romantic, but him singing to you for the first time was something you soon wouldn't forget. The crazy measures and hoops he had to jump through to organize your evening out was remarkable.
'okay, okay. If I tell y'all will you hush?' you responded. They all nodded simultaneously. You look out on the O2 stage to see the boys opening act, 5 Seconds Of Summer, still performing and then turned back to the girls and began giving them the details of your evening from beginning to end.
'that is way too cute.' Danielle said after you'd finished talking. 'not a single fan interrupted you guys?' Eleanor asked. 'nope, not a single one. It was so nice. I mean I know the fans have gotten them to where they are and everything, but still it does get a bit annoying not being able to just have an evening out without them mobbing the both of us. especially since Niall has that claustrophobic problem. Poor boy holds my hand and squeezes it so much when we get crowded.' you said. 'I don't think I've seen you this happy in a long time y/n' Perrie stated. The other girls nodded in agreement with her statement.
'truth is, I haven't been this happy in a long while. I mean I know with the engagement and everything I should be a ton happier, but it's just so tough. With all the names I've been called just because I'm the boys tour photographer, Niall's fiancé, and Harry's best friend. People just don't seem to think that me and Harry can be only friends they seems to think we're 'friends with benefits' and that I'm cheating on Niall with him. It's just so hurtful that people would start stuff like that and that they would think me to be the kind of person or just start that kind of stuff to break me and Niall up. Even knowing it's completely false, it's still really difficult to hear.' you explained
'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go off like that.' you added. 'darling you're just fine.' Danielle said reassuringly. The girls came closer to you giving you a group hug. 'I'm so glad to have you girls in my life. Y'all are absolute blessings to me.' you told them as they started backing off of you. At that moment, you saw the 5SOS drummer, Ashton, walking off the stage as the other boys followed him off. 'well I suppose that's our cue to go sit in our seats.' Perrie said. 'let's go wish our boys good luck first.' Eleanor added. They walked ahead of you and Danielle, who was side hugging you all the while.
She stopped you right before you entered the boys dressing room, which was right in front of you now. 'y/n, you're such a strong person don't let people who are sitting behind a computer screen get you down.' she said as she squeezed your hand and walked ahead of you into the boys dressing room.
You finally made your way to the front row along with the rest of the girls right before the boys came out on stage. You'd got the night off from work, courtesy of Niall persuading Paul you deserved an evening off. Fans were asking all of you for signatures and pictures and asking loads of questions, all of which you gladly answered and did since they were being so polite about all of it.
Several minutes later the boys were finally on stage and starting the first song. Perrie stood to your left with Eleanor to your right and Danielle was on the right of her. You all swayed and sang along with the songs. Throughout the show, the boys had made various silly faces and winks in the direction of the four of you. When it came time for Little Things to be sung, each boy stared intently at his significant other, except Harry who had chosen to stare at you.
After the concert, the rest of the girls had gone back home to catch some sleep which left you with the 5SOS and 1D boys backstage. They were all still buzzing from their performances, so they were loads of fun to be around at this point. You laughed and laughed at all sorts of stories and jokes they told. You couldn't believe how fortunate you were to have these amazing guys in your life. After a couple hours with them you decided you should probably go back to the flat to sleep and let Cason out.
*a few months later*
You couldn't believe it. Tomorrow you're marrying the love of your life, Niall James Horan. You and Niall had agreed on having the wedding at a lovely church in Mullingar. Your family had flown in from Oklahoma, thanks to Niall.
Louis,Eleanor,Zayn,Perrie,Liam,Danielle, and Harry had all come in just a few days ago. The girls were hosting your bachelorette party after the rehearsal dinner and the boys were throwing Niall's bachelor party after also.
Your father was performing the ceremony, as you'd always planned. You'd run through the ceremony successfully twice and decided that was good. After the meal, you saw Louis,Liam, Zayn,and Harry take the stage. 'so we have a song we would like to sing in honor of the couple we're here to honor, Niall and y/n' Liam announced. Before you knew it you heard the opening chords of What Makes You Beautiful.
You couldn't help but sing along. At one point you looked over at Niall,who was sitting beside you, and caught him singing along. He turned and saw you looking at him and blushed. You reached out for his hand which he quickly grabbed and squeezed and lifted up to his mouth and gently kissed before leaning over, give you a proper kiss on the lips. The song ended and you and Niall both took to the stage. Both thanking everyone for being at the rehearsal and being a part of your lives.
'come on baby girl. It's your last night as a single lady no use in wasting it with that weirdo.' Danielle said trying to ease you away from your fiancé. 'mate, let's go.' Harry said, gripping Niall's arm. 'I'll see you tomorrow babe. I'll be the one at the front of the church.' Niall declared. 'and I'll be the one in white.' you said, before kissing him goodbye. You both said your 'I love you's' and he headed out the door.
You stopped Harry before he left. 'Haz, no strippers tonight please.' 'no worries. can't stand those girls one bit. just a pint or two and a laugh with the boys is all he's getting tonight. Wouldn't want you to get hurt, y/n' 'thanks Hazza.' you said, giving him a hug before he headed out the door.
'well let's get this girl evening started.' Eleanor shouted. You'd gone back to Maura's house for your bachelorette party. It was a lovely evening full of massages, manicures, pedicures, and lots of girl talk. It was so nice to be surrounded by such a strong support system, especially having Danielle, Eleanor, and Perrie who all understood what you're going through by having a boy who's internationally known.
'all right well off we go.' Perrie said as it neared midnight. 'see you in the morning.' a weary Danielle said. 'feel free to come back in the bridal room tomorrow if you want to' you mentioned to them. 'we most definitely will. have to get a sneak peek of this lovely dress your mum and Maura have told us about.' Eleanor said. 'thank you girls so much for a lovely evening. goodnight ladies.' you told them. 'goodnight y/n' they said in unison as they walk out to the taxi.
Tomorrow's the big day, you thought to yourself, and you couldn't be any more excited about it.
