(I had to rewrite this chapter due to some inaccuracy on my part, sorry.)
Slow. Everything was slow. I woke up every day just trying to nit-pick the good things that could happen that day. The only one I could think of was Brendon.
It's probably horrible for all of your happiness to rely on one person, but at least I have some source of happiness.
Okay, I'm going to stop feeling bad for myself and drag my ass to school every day until it's Friday.
Lunch rolls around and I haven't spoken to anyone besides Spencer. I'd thought I could away with one day without questions or stares.
But oh, how things spread fast.
"Ryan," Keltie Knight and her group of dancing bimbos crowd around me. "How are you doing?" Keltie asks with her concerned voice.
"Uh, I'm good, I guess."
"Sorry Keltie, I'm glad you're concerned for Ryan, but I don't think you're helping." I hear behind me. I turn around and see my lord and savior, Brendon Urie.
Keltie gives Brendon a dirty look and then looks back to me with a sad smile. "If you need anything, just let me know." She nods and walks away, her friends following behind her.
Brendon walks next to me and grabs my arm, pulling me a little further. He moves in front of me and steadies me with his arms on my shoulders.
"So do you want to come over after school? My parents aren't home." He says it in a different tone. My heart starts pounding.
"Uh, y-yeah." He smiles.
"Okay, I'll meet you out here after last period." I nod and he walks away.
During the three periods of class after lunch, all I could do was wonder what Brendon had in mind when he said "My parents aren't home." Maybe I'm over reacting, he probably said it as a joke. But what if he wasn't joking? Was he planning something? Sex? Oh my God, I can't have sex, I'm not ready for that. I'll just have to tell him that.
I meet Brendon outside of my last class and I text Spencer because I couldn't find him in the chaos of people rushing to get out of this Hell.
'going w brendon'
'have fuuun ;;;)'
'hate u'
Brendon and I walk to his house, but first I drop my bag off at Spencer's- and mine now, I guess.
Brendon opens his door for me to walk in first, then closes it behind me and flies onto his living room couch past me.
"What do you want to do?" He asks me.
"I don't know, you invited me."
"No shit, Sherlock."
"We can watch a movie, I guess." I shrug.
"No, that's so boring."
"I know." I sigh.
"Do you wanna talk about...us?" He asks shyly.
"Um, like what?" I stutter.
"Coming out." He shrugs. Oh, right.
"Well, I really have no one to worry about. Spencer is obviously supportive. That's really the only person left that I care about. I don't give a shit what everybody else thinks. They're all just people I pass by in class."
"Well my mom knows. She obviously thinks it's wrong but I think she knows if my dad knew, I'd be screwed. Maybe she won't tell him." I completely forgot about his mom reading his notebook. Oh my God, we're fucked.
"I don't want you to get hurt." I mumble quietly. Maybe his dad isn't like mine was, but he'll probably blow up when he hears about his son being gay. My dad didn't even know I was gay and he beat me into a pulp, when he was awake, at least.
"What were you saying?" His brows furrow. I'm silent. As I try to figure out how to explain this correctly, the silent seconds feel like hours.
"I'm just afraid of coming out to your parents. I don't wan-" His lips connect with mine. My heart stops racing from nerves and starts slowing and thudding harder. I loosen up and lean forward onto the couch.
'Thank God.' I think to myself as I lean over on top of Brendon on the couch. My legs straddle Brendon's waist as we kiss slowly. My stomach is constantly fluttering and my heart feels warm.
After kissing for what only felt like five minutes, I'm being lulled to sleep by the warm, passionate kisses. I lay my head on Brendon and fade to sleep.

"Ry," I hear a sleepy voice, "you gotta get up, my parents are gonna be home in five minutes."
I groan and lift my head from Brendon's chest.
"What time is it?" I ask as my eyes flutter open.
"6:30." He whispers.
"Ugh, can I just sleep here forever?" I groan and thunk my head back onto his chest.
"I'd ask the same thing, but my arm is kind of uncomfortable." He laughs quietly.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I try and move so he can move his arm.
"It's okay, I was fine with it." We share small smiles. My insides feel warm when I see him smile at me.
I roll off of him and onto the living room floor with a thud.
"You okay?" He asks.
"Yeah, I do that every morning." He laughs and I stand up.
"So, see you tomorrow?" He raises his eyebrow slightly with a soft smile.
"Yeah, I'll text you." I lean in and kiss him one last time before I walk out.
***
"You were gone an awful long time, Ry." Spencer says suggestively.
"Don't get any ideas. We just slept." Spencer raises his eyebrows with a smile. I roll my eyes.
"God, not like that." I say exhaustedly. He giggles like a school girl.
"Okay. Well, while you over at lover boy's, I copied your homework."
I sigh. "Of course."
"So are you guys still going on that date? You guys haven't gone yet." He pokes me.
"Yeah, Friday."
"Oooh." He smiles.
"Oh my God, how old are you?"
"Older than you, actually."
"No, I'm almost a year older than you, dumbass."
"Shit I forgot." He mumbles.
A/N: I'M GETTING BACK INTO IT, GUYS, I'M TRYING TO UPDATE MORE OFTEN. I'm so sorry about those times before where there were long waits for short updates. Don't worry, we're done with the shitty waiting. I'm gonna try so hard to get all of my stories up to date. Hope you enjoyed.
