Chapter Seven: Training

I wake up 25 til dawn. I decide to shower. Then when I'm done I walk out and see another outfit has been layed out. Black pants, loose grey T-Shirt, and black sneakers. With a light grey hoodie. A hair tie is on top, so assume I need to put my hair in a braids, or ponytail. I choose a ponytail because braids are to much like Katniss. I look at the time. It's time to go. I walk to the dining room. Noah and Haymitch are already there eating. I go over and take a seat. I'm not that hungry, so I grab a cup.of Hot Chocolate, and a small bowl of a oatmeal. As I pick at my food Haymitch says,
"Training is different this year. I'm sure your siblings have told you about training?" We nod, so he continues on, "You will be training 2 hours privately, then 2 hours with the tribute of your district, then 2 with the other tributes. The you start at 9 and will end at 3pm. Then have the rest of the day to your selves. Also, you start individually, then will go on just you two then will train all together. There's 3 different training rooms. Individual, Partner, and Together. Now go." We both leave silently. Since we're starting off alone, I try to think of what I can do. Then Noah, grabs my hand and pulls me in for a hug. I'm startled but I hug him back. He's so strong. Then he breaks away. I'm so confused. Then the doors open. We step out. There's a sign, it says

We follow the signs. I step into a room that has a dark blue mat, and a ton of different stations. There's a clock that has a timer. It's set for two Hours. I go to the throwing knife station. Katniss never taught me about knives only bows. So when I lick up a glossy black one it surprised me when I feel like it belongs their. The instructor come over to go e me lessons. He shows me once, twice then tells me to do it. I look aim fire. And hit the target. I stand shocked. Hit the target, again and again. Then I move on to plants those are easy. I remember being with Katniss and going over the book. Then I move on to comflauge, which I find that I like the design a lot. Then I move to archery. I look at the bow. I don't want to. It's Katniss' thing. But I have to do it. I grab it and pull the string. Just like Katniss taught me. I hit the edge of the red. I shrug, then move on. My time flys. Then I'm with Noah, doing grappling, some what they call Martial Arts, and hand on hand combat. This room is mostly the same. But all the if you get caught stuff. Noah is strong but I'm fast. I beat him in 2 out of 3 wrestling. But he's a strong boy, so he doesn't take it personally. I love it. It's sick, but I was meant for the games. I will win the games.
