"Sabrina, they took him. He's gone. He said he didn't want to see his friends die and they took him. What will we do?"
"We have to go after him."Sabrina woke up.
She shuffled backwards, her back hitting cold metal, she pushed herself to sit up, her hands feeling the cold metal underneath her. She was in some sort of cage.
It was dark, and cold.
What happened? She thought.
She tried to remember. Anything. Anything at all. But nothing came into her mind.Just her name. That's all she remembers.
Shock, fear and confusion filled her body.
Her forehead was covered in beads of sweat, despite the room's cool air. What is this?
She wanted to scream and cry, but for some reason, she didn't. She had her back against the cold metal wall, breathing heavily, looking around hoping it would jog some memories back. Yet, again.... Nothing.
Her memories were taken away. Wiped out of her mind. Maybe even locked. A barrier stopping her from remembering anything. Who she was, how old she was, where she came from.
Then suddenly the cage jerked upward, pushing her forward, sending out mechanical whirs, whining of metal, and loud screeching, which echoed against the walls around her.
Her hands flew in front of her, stopping her body from slamming into the floor.
She pushed herself back up.
"What the hell?" She whispered.
Why can't I remember anything? She thought.
She couldn't make out what was happening.
"Hello?!" She screamed.
"Is anyone there?!" She felt frustrated.
"What's happening?!"
"Help!!" She said trying to shake the cage.
No response. She could only hear the echo of her voice. As she went up, she passed by white lights along the side of the cage, flashing for half a second before she passed by another light.
The trip didn't seem to end.
She didn't know where she was going, or if this stupid trip actually had a destination.
She sat down, head in her hands.
Trying her hardest to remember anything. Absolutely anything. She started pacing around, the rattling of the cage still scaring her.
After about roughly 30 minutes, the cage came to a harsh stop, causing her arm to scrape against the rough, metallic wall, and to bump her head on the ceiling and fall back down to the floor.
Pain ached in her head and her arm.
"Ow..." She said rubbing the part of her head that bumped the ceiling. She looked up.
She heard a rattling, afraid of what might happen she shuffled backwards.
Lights turned red, turning the whole room bright red. She started to panic.
That can't be good.
After a second the light flashed green and buzzed loudly, startling her.
