After about half an hour of butt pain from sitting on my horse too long, I reached the kingdom of Gerwin. It wasn't as large as ours, or Eviny's kingdom, but it was fairly big.
My horse tiredly trudged up the path that led into their village. Yay another fifteen minutes of horse back riding, to the castle.
My horse trots in, and I glance around at all the happy townsfolk as they sold merchandise and talked cheerily. I pass a strangely happy homeless man who had a banjo, and the banjo case as he played, out of tune, yet lovely song. The sounds of the banjo and music echoed throughout the happiness. People threw in bronze coins, non hesitantly, to the homeless mans banjo case.
I always loved passing through the town of the people. They always seemed in good mood, and cheery. The townsfolk waved happily as I passed by, which I also loved. The townsfolk in Detron where always gloomy, and always afraid when any of the princesses, princes, soldiers, king and Queen passed by, cowering in mostly my fathers glory.
"Excuse me, miss," I hear a squeaky voice and look down.
"Yes, dear?" I ask sweetly, stopping my horse to face a small boy, that had brown rags and a cap on, holding out a bucket full of homemade cherry Popsicles.
"Would you like one?" He asks, wearing a big grin.
I couldn't resist," of course," I smile.
"How many?" He asks.
"Two please," I ask and he pulls out two cherry Popsicles, handing them over to me.
"That will be two bronze coins please," he smiles.
Bronze coins weren't that much money, and I had about twenty bronze coins in my saddle bag.
Instead I pull out two gold coins. The most rare and most rich coins.
"Here you go darling," I smile, handing him two gold coins instead.
" th-these are g-gold coins," he stutters, gulping, probably wanting to take them, but reminding me in caution.
"I'm fully aware, dear, I'm afraid I don't have any bronze, or silver, coins in me. Only gold,"
"I don't have enough change," he mutters, looking into his pocket, only three bronze coins.
Gold coins cost 1,000 bronze coins, and 100 silver coins.
"It's alright, keep the change, I'm positive you need it more than I do," I nod and smile, holding the Popsicles in one hand, and my reins in the other, kicking Ash lightly into a trot, the little boy staring after me.
"Thank you, miss!"he calls out, I could practically feel the happiness radiating off him.

I finally reach the pathway to the castle.
The castle was surrounded by woods, except for the front, and it's pathway led all the way to the town.I leap off Ash, still expertly holding the Popsicles in one hand, and slightly tug him to follow after me. I near the door, and bang three times.
"Alo's here!" I hear Damian's little sister call out and she opens the door.
" hi Michelle!" I smile and she squeals.
" hi Alo! The stable gates are open just for you!" She motions to the right, where a separate wooden stable was.
"Thank you," I nod and head towards the stables.
I enter the stables, tugging Ash lightly into a pen, with large wooden walls and a wooden, low gate. If the horse tried to leap, he could've escaped the pen, but I know Ash wouldn't do that. I tug him in, and close the pen door behind me.
