Kingdom Of The Lost

Chapter 11

I wake up to the soft away and thunderous footsteps of Ksicie. I yawn and open my eyes to see that I am thirty feet off the ground, on Ksicie's back. I scream first, shocked, then almost fall, but Rowan catches my arm before I plummet to my death. He pulls me up, and makes me sit in front of him as he keeps his hands around my waist like a seatbelt. Alec sat in front, watching everything in front of us as Ksicie walked.

"Where are we going so early?" I ask and yawn, lifting my hand to rub my eye, then my other, feeling the grip around my waist tighten, and butterflies fly in my stomach so much, Rowan could probably feel them flutter.

"I don't know, your dragon friend just woke us up, and we just followed her. Couldn't get you to wake up so your dragon had to pick you up and place you in her back. She is taking us somewhere," Rowan states.

'We are heading to the kingdom of the lost' Ksicie says calmly.

'Should I tell them?' I ask nervously.

'Yea sure, why not,'

'Okay,' I sigh and open my mouth.

"We are heading to the kingdom of the lost," I say, my lips slightly quivering. am I supposed to be ruler of that kingdom? A kingdom that is isolated from the world?

"And how do you know?" Alec asks.

"Ksicie told me," I state.

"Who is Ksicie, your fairy godmother?" Rowan chuckles.

"First of all, I don't believe in fairies. Second of all, your sitting on Ksicie. I would shut my mouth unless you want to fall to your death," I say, rather rudely, trying to defend my dragon.

I turn to face his shocked one with a smirk.

"Sorry," he mutters to Ksicie.

'He better be,' I hear Ksicie growl, and an amused smirk lands on her muzzle when Rowan shivers.

"So your telling me Ksicie is going to lead us to the lost kingdom?" Alec asks

"Yes, she is," I say proudly.

"Yeah right," I hear Alec mutter.

Unfortunately, Ksicie hears. And this sets her off on her last strand.

'I'm getting rid of them,' she growls.

'Do as you wish, I don't think they are who they say they are anyways. Why do they need to be in the kingdom of the lost if it's only for mystical creatures and the chosen one?' I say back, understanding that maybe these two men are going to invade the kingdom of the lost, and take over being ordered by the king or something.

"Do you believe that Ksicie will take us to the kingdom of the lost?" I ask.

'Don't worry I believe you, I'm just gonna dig deeper and see if they actually believe,' I mind link a warning to Ksicie and she nods.

"Why are you asking? Do you?" Rowan asks.

'I believe you, so don't kill me,' I remind Ksicie then respond to Rowan.

"No," I say simply.

"Obviously she doesn't know, she is a dragon. She hasn't even been there I betcha," Alec says, letting out a hearty laugh.

I can't believe my brother is so vile.

With that, Ksicie stops, and turns so her head is facing us. She had a large fire in her eyes, murderous almost. But I know she wouldn't kill anyone without my permission.

She leans down and picks up Alec by his leather armour, since I still had his navy blue cloak on.

She take him off her back and leans down, placing him on the ground on our right side.

"Hey! What do you think your doing?" He tells up to me.

I shrug with a smug smile on my face.

Next, Ksicie picks up Riwan by his cloak and places him down beside Alec.

"What are you doing?" Rowan yells up, mimicking Alec.

"You don't believe, doesn't seem like you should ride her there!" I say happily.

Alec and Rowan run up to Ksicie, trying to jump back on, but Ksicie extends her wings, hitting some trees slightly, then beating them with such force, it makes Rowan and Alec fall to the ground.

"Wait!" Rowan screams as we beat up into the sky, slightly above the trees.

"We believe! We promise!" Alec screams after us.

I wave at them.

"Sorry boys! Guess you need another ride that knows how to get there! Bye!" I say cheerily, then we take off.

I scream at first, finally noticing how high of the ground we were, and how strangely fast we were going, clinging onto a few of Ksicie's scales, but so only, adrenaline bursts through my gains and I let out a cheer as we soar above the trees.

Sorry for the short chapter.

In the beginning when I said 'thirty feet off the ground' I was just exaggerating. Ksicie isn't actually thirty feet tall ._.
