Jamie pov

With a burning gaze I looked over the building and what I imagine to be cellars hidden under the ground. The cellars where I am pretty sure the hunters and rogues are keeping our Alpha, Conner. The smell hanging around the entire place just screamed rogue. Mike looked at me with furrowed brows.

"The smell get the strongest up here, so I suspect he would be around here somewhere" He lifted his arm and pointed in the general direction of where we suspected the cellars where. "There are a lot of rogues around here." I nodded my head and closed my eyes for a second.

Ever since I've been 6 I could hear better than anyone. I can hear peoples heartbeat from miles away. footsteps, breathing, I could hear it all. Back then, it made me crazy. I couldn't play outside because it the sounds around me would be way too loud for me. It was only 2 years later that I found a way to ignore it all and be a normal young wolf. But my hearing ability and the strength and bloodlust I get when I fight was exactly what gave me the position of third in command.

I'm the one who makes all the war plans, I train the warriors the guards... I have the best knowledge about fighting and cultures all over the world. I have been everywhere and it made me, what I could only hope, a deadly enemy.

I focused on the heartbeats around me, I could hear about 50 footsteps all in front of us. I could hear any heavy steps making me realize there were no wolves around. When we change into our wolves we become heavier. "25 rogues, no wolves around" Mike gave a wonderful smile, looking at me with stunned eyes.

Leon grunted some profanities and looked all around the small place. "Although I can hear 2 different breathing patterns in the cells, so Connor isn't alone down there." Leon looked at me with wide eyes. "Breathing is too soft to be a heavy rogue or even a hunter. He doesn't sound like a trained person at all... must be another prisoner." Again Mike looked stunned.

"Amazing" His voice sounded a little bit off, his eyes staring straight at me. I gave him a shy smile and took a step closer to him.

"Hummm" I looked at the furious ayes of our soon to be Luna. "I appreciate the fact that you two are doing good, but can you guys maybe do this at a later time, when I don't need to worry about the fact that my mate is in the hands of some crazy guys, who for some strange reason have an obsession with the history." I furrow my brow looking at him.

"Obsession with history?" I lift my eyebrows at his angry figure.

"Never mind, something the papers said indicated it." I nodded my head and ignored the confused look Mike sends our way.

"We'll never be able to take them down with just the 3 of us." Leon nodded. "I could call up some warriors, but I doubt they would find this place all on their own." Again he nodded.

"But I don't want to leave, I don't think we can find it again, when the smell disappears" This time I nodded my head.

"Can't you contact him know? We are closer than last time you tried right?" Mike directed his question to his little brother. Giving a soft smile at him he gave him a strange look in return.

"I guess I can try..." His voice trailed of and his eyes glazed over. I smiled at the look on his face before giving a soft look at my mate standing next to me. I looked up at him and returned the soft smile. He leaned down slowly and softly pressed his lips against mines. I could feel the tingles travelling all over my body, making me let out a gasp.

I could feel his lips forming a smile against mines. I pulled back and threw a quick look over my shoulder when I heard something I couldn't place. I furrowed my brows scanning over all the people that were still in the same spot as a couple hours ago.

"What's wrong?" I looked back at Mike and lifted my shoulder softly.

"I don't know, I thought I heard something but I can't make out what it is..." I trailed of scanning the open spot behind us. Leon let out a sigh before looking back at us.

"He is fine, he isn't alone in those cellars like you already mentioned Jamie... He met a guy who apparently can control air, Dyno, it's impressive he says." Leon smiled softly. "I just told him you guys where with me and he personally thinks you are strong enough to defeat them all Jamie, and with some help of Dyno and Mike he think he can get out."

I furrowed my brows again. Something I do a lot the last couple of days since this entire mess started. How I miss the days I travelled around the world without a care in the world. Now I'm stuck in this mess where we can't seem to get out of...

"How can they get out of a stone cellar?" I looked up at Mikes question and nodded my head indicating I agreed with his question.

"I'll ask..." His eyes glazed over again before he nodded again. "Okay, So Connor said that Dyno can blow a small hole into the wall, but he will need some help making it bigger because Dyno's wrist aren't in a shape to pull the bricks out. He ask if Mike and ma can help with that. Then he asks if it is possible to get Greg or even Josh and River here, as alpha and I bet they are pretty strong too, so they can help Jamie get the others distracted long enough."

I nodded my head and gave him a smile, still focussing on all the buzzing sounds around us. I could faintly hear a twig snapping close by but decided to ignore it. The sound was close but it wasn't something to worry about.

"So, Josh and River are on their way, they are following my smell up to here, so they will find it I hope, but when They need it I will just walk a little bit back, so they can see me from the main path."

Mike looked at his brother again before looking at me and smiling softly. He looked behind me and suddenly his eyes become big and his body went rigid. I furrowed my brows and turned around slowly. I squinted my eyes.

In front of us was a young dominate wolf, he didn't smell rogue and he had wounds covering his body. His stare was fixated on us while the guard in front of him kept talking and barking orders. I could faintly hear a threat being throw in to make the kid do what the guard said. His eyes were dull, but they seemed to come alive more when he noticed Leon and me looking at him.

"Who is that?" I could feel Mike lift his shoulders.

"I have no idea... But he looks dangerous..."
