The next morning it took me a while to realize I wasn't sleeping alone in my bed. I could feel Mike's heat from next to me. And surprisingly it made me feel great.

Mike's arm was thrown over my waist, holding me close to his chest. His face was tilted slightly upwards, his mouth hanging open, giving the chance to some small sounds to escape. The covers had slipped down to his waist, letting the sun, that managed to slip through my curtain, to light up his normal tan skin. But now, his skin was white, from his times spend into a hospital bed. His muscles still strong and powerful looking.

With a soft smile on my face I traced my fingertips over his strong and firm jaw line. My pads softly touching it. 'God, It feels so soft... Even with the little stubble'

"Jamie, You there?"

With a sigh I closed my eyes and focused on Connor's presence in my mind through the mind link.

"Where else would I be Connor? You say that like one day someone else would answer through this link." I opened my eyes again and looked straight into Mike's eyes.

"HAHAHA! you think you're funny?? But with all that's been happening recently, you might never know right? I actually need you to get here as soon as possible together with Mike."

With a frown I quickly turn my head and look at the clock on my bedside table. "9 O'clock, Connor. 9 O'clock! You know what time we fell asleep last night?!"

For a couple seconds all you could hear over the line was silence. I smiled when I felt Mike's arm sneaking around my waist. the small pressure of his arm softly pulling me more against him. His eyes peeked open, he pressed a kiss to my head and quickly closed them again. Smiling in his still sleepy state.

"Well, I know I crawled in bed right after we arrived, I don't know what you freaky guys did, I mean your mate just wake up from a coma, I can imagine what you would be very interested in doing..."

I felt my face heat up and I could feel Mike chuckle against my hair. "I can imagine what you're thinking about..." He mumbled.

"Anyway, I think It's time we talk to that guy we saved. So get your asses here!"

Another heavy sigh left my lips before I finely gathered the courage to throw the duvet off of my body. Immediately Mikes eyes jumped open looking around the room with an analyzing gaze. "What's wrong?" He shifted his eyes to me mumbling the question, realizing there was nothing wrong in my bedroom.

"Nothing really, Time to go and meet up with Connor and the gang... Something about questioning the guys we saved yesterday." With a sigh he dropped back down on the bed next to me. "Does he not realize it's way too early for stuff like that?" I bark out a laugh which earns ma a strange look in return.

"I said something along the same lines to Connor. You don't want to know his response. Come on, the faster we get there, the faster he lets us go again."

The room was quiet. Connor was sitting behind his office in a chair he had pulled out from one of the many other rooms in the pack house. On the chair he normally sat on, Leon was sitting, reading over a paper with a strange look in his eyes. All the others were scattered around the office waiting in silence. The moment the door closed behind Mike, all eyes turned to us.

"Finely, I was already wondering when you two would turn up!" Connor grinned at us.

"Not my fault you only decide to call us when you guys are already here." I lifted my shoulder with a grin thrown his way. I grabbed a hold of Mike's arm and pulled him with me to the couch on the right side of the office.
