Night-scare (Boyxboy)

3. Escape

The hunters eyes become big, while they tried to load their guns as soon as possible. Some just stared at me like they couldn't believe I just killed their leader. I gave them all an evil smile, keeping my eyes locked on all the things that were going on around me. I could see Jack coming out of the tents again looking over the scene quickly before turning around and walking behind the small shed. I smiled inwardly at the strange look he gave the hunters before he disappeared completely behind the shed.

I let my eyes trail over every single hunter, while letting out a deafening growl. If that didn't get their attention, It sure as hell managed to frighten them enough to make them stop their movements. Their eyes zoned in on me, some becoming even bigger in fear then they were when I killed their leader.

"Jamie, we got them out, even Dyno, so you can start destroying them all." I couldn't stop the smile appearing on my face when I heard the voice through the pack link.

"It will be my pleasure!" my voice sounded deep, deeper then you would expect from me. It was an indication my wolf was on the surface, ready to do as he pleases with the pathetic hunters in front of me.

"Wait, Jamie, Don't kill all of them, I think I might like one to be alive to question him" Connor's voice was clear. I grunted in response.

"Well I will try, Can't promise anything!" I could hear Connor grumble inside my head right before I felt my wolf take over.

I had a very close relationship with my wolf, even though he is very aggressive, he can be the sweetest thing to me. He knows I don't like violence, SO whenever there has to be a fight, he takes complete control till the fights over. Normal wolves can't let their wolves loose like I can, they would go feral or rogue. But me...

My wolf knows me and I know I can trust him enough to keep us save. I know he will give me back the control the moment he feel that there is no more danger, so I let him do what he wants in the fight.

"Jamie, you want to wake up yet?" my wolves deep voice sounded through my eardrums while I was sitting at this little lake I had created when I was little inside my brain. I created this place after my wolf took complete control of me the first time. It was my escape room, you could say, it hit me from all the horrible things my wolf could do.

The space looked a beautiful green meadow. It was covered in an occasional red and yellow flower. There was also a small lake with some big fish swimming around in it. It had a calming atmosphere.

"Sure, Care to fill me in?" With a sigh I stood up and started to close my eyes.

"Well, We fought, we won, we killed a lot of them, kept 2 alive like the Alpha asked. We are on our way back now to the pack house." I nodded my head and felt myself sink back.

With a sigh I opened my eyes. The first thing I felt was the arm that was thrown around my middle. Smiling I looked up at Mike. His eyes were focused on the road in front of us, his hair was swept to the side because of the small breeze. A small smile playing on his lips. Suddenly his eyes focused on mine, a frown appearing on his face.

"What's wrong? Something on my face?" I couldn't stop the smile playing on my lips.

"Nothing's wrong, just enjoying the view a bid I guess..." I gave him a wink before sighing again and trying to get close on his side. "Just enjoying the fact that you are actually awake, and here, ... next to me."

I felt Mike's lips against my hair before he chuckled softly. "Did you think I would give you up that easily?" I looked up with what I was sure a stupid look on my face. "You said I had to win you over, proof I changed... I can't do that when I'm dead now, can I?"

My eyes became big when I remembered the words I uttered the first moment I realized he was my mate. "You don't need to do that anymore, Mike, almost losing you made me realize what I could lose, It made me realize I should enjoy every minute I got with you, instead of holding on to a stupid revenge plan for Leon." He smiled softly at me. "If he can forgive you, so can I!"

The smile he gave me could light up my entire day. It makes me feel like I can do everything, be everything... It was all in all an amazing feeling.

After a couple minutes we arrived at the pack house.

"Okay, So Jamie go home it's late enough already, go sleep! Mike you too, go to your room! I will handle the rest for know"

All I could do was nod, but my hold on mike's arm around me didn't lessen. "You coming home with me, right?" Mike looked down at me, the frown again on his face.

"You sure?" I nodded my head before giving Connor and Leon a smile, turning around and pulling Mike behind me. "Good night!" I could hear Leon's laugh behind us, but could honestly care less about it.

"Good night!" Mike chuckled at the screaming voice of his brother, grinning down at me. I smiled up at him.

It only took us a couple seconds to arrive at the brand new house Connor got for me. He gave it to me as a present when I returned from the last training. The house was mad completely out of dark wood. It had a small porch and a white front door. I pulled him up to the front door and softly opened the door, pushing him inside. With a grin he looks around the place.

"It's nice." Mike looks around the small hall we are standing in. I nod my head, quickly looking around me to check the small room. The room was painted a nice light grey colour. The floor had dark black tiles. The hall was one step lower than the rest of my house, there was a light brown stair on our right In front of us was a hallway that ended in the kitchen. The kitchen was an open room, that way I could look into the living room and dining room without any walls obstructing my view. the living room was more to the right of the kitchen, but from where we are standing you can't see it.

I nodded at him.

"Let's get you upstairs to my room, I had enough excitement for today." I turned my head at him while walking up the stairs.

"I couldn't agree more!"

It's been a while but I'm back now!
