"So, now you are telling me about your running-away-from me reasons" Aryan says turning to me.
Hell no. He still remembers to ask me that."Can we let it go? Please? "
"No." his answer was firm. We are walking in the ground floor corridor.
I clear my throat. "As I said, I didn't know it was you. I thought it was.." I take a pause.
"it was?" his tone is curious and he has tilted his head."someone else."
He stares at me narrowing his eyes. "and who is this someone else of yours? Wait a second, is someone troubling you?""No.nothing as such. I ll tell you later? Please?"
His lustrous brown eyes are turning more restless.
He holds my shoulders with both his hands.
"Why don't you just tell me? You did something wrong and probably were trying to run away. Were you? Tell me.I won't tell anyone" I see his face giving a strange expression.I stir my body to let go off his hold on my shoulders.
Finally giving up, I take a deep breath before saying, "Raghav."
The moment I say that I see his expressions change.
"I thought it was Raghav Khanna behind me. Your voice sounded so much like his. It was not until you turned me round and asked me what was wrong with me that it hammered home the lesson that it wasn't Raghav and thus I was a bit shocked that it was you I had been running away from."
As soon as he hears my confession I guess I hear him mutter some curse words under his breath before turning up again with fury to say
"Raghav! Why did you need to run away from him?" His tone and expressions have completely changed, becoming furious and angry than ever, all politeness gone from it. Anger and rage, evident in his brown eyes."Actually.."
I don't wish to narrate all that to him. I barely know him. There is no need to share all those things that happened with this guy. I haven't even let Neha know about it. I don't wish to gain anyone's sympathy or anything. I am a much self confident girl. I can manage things on my own. Right?"It's just nothing. I,-I actually got to go. See you tomorrow." saying so I turn back to walk away from him. More like run away.
And this time he doesn't force me.***
"The Yellow one or the Orange one?" My friend asked holding both of the dresses in front of the camera. It had been more than a week since I had talked to my old friends. I had assured them that I would Skype them last Saturday but didn't. Now I lay comfortably in my bed wearing a Kurti talking to my best friend.
"Um..both are good but if..." Just then I heard someone's voice in there.
"Whom you troubling for the choice of dress" he says and I guess he is about to peek in to see the face of the person that she is talking to -that is me but however she shoves aside her laptop and all I can see are the light blue walls of her bedroom.I can only hear their voices and hearing the voice I can say it's her cousin Sameer. "Tell me whom you talking to. Oh come on sis. Wouldn't you introduce me to your boyfriend?"
I can hear them fighting at the other end, my best friend finally managing to shove him off the room probably. She gets back to me. "So, tell me which one is better?"
"Um..the orange one""Really? But I thought the yellow one was better."
"Then why do you ask my suggestions" I say, rolling my eyes.
I continue, "You could have atleast showed him it wasn't your boyfriend"Keeping her dresses inside her wardrobe, she speaks, "Yeah and you think after knowing that it was you here he would have let me have my quality time with you alone? He would have snatched my laptop away from me. We hardly get to match our timings to chat like this and I don't want him ruining it and wait, do you really want him to see you like this?"
She says looking at me through the device in front of her.
