I woke up squinting my eyes to the bright sunshine that was making its way onto my room and hitting me right in the face.
I shuffled in the bed a bit before pulling my hand up towards the alarm clock to check the time.
Much to my pleasure (or rather displeasure) I have woken up approximately thirty minutes earlier and therefore I switched off my alarm which still hadn't rung.Stretching my hands lazily, I tilted my neck up to look at the white ceiling, while feeling much fresh and awake already.
There has got to be something good about today.Had I really woken up this early by myself?
There are days wherein you find yourself feeling much happier and in quite good spirits for apparently no appropriate reason. The sunshine which otherwise would have irritated you and made you curse it for making you wake up from your beauty sleep that too when your alarm hasn't even rung yet, now seems to be appreciable and tends to make you feel all warm and content.
Today seemed to be one of those days.
A major reason being I didn't have any stupid dreams spoiling my sleep for let me tell you dreams are not those that you get while sleeping;
Dreams are those devilish creatures that don't let you sleep.
And I so much believe that saying totally. One of the other important reasons may also include that I talked to my Dad yesterday that too after so long.
Nothing can match the happiness you achieve from an extremely hearty conversation with your parent when you are miles away from them and missing them.
Badly.I pulled down my covers slowly and still lazily before I shimmied out of the bed to make my way into the balcony of the bedroom.
The cool morning breeze from the balcony of the tenth floor gave me a sense of ultimate pleasure and I closed my eyes, losing myself completely into the blissfullness of the soothing breeze here.
It has been over a month that I have come here, in Mumbai to Hill Valley. A lot has changed in the past one month. Haven't I learnt many new things regarding staying away from Dad and Friends?Slowly I felt my mind trying to forget all the worries in my life.
I exactly don't know for how much time did I stay there like that but soon I returned to the room and went to the bathroom to freshen myself up.
After I was done washing my face and having a hot shower with the hot water making me feel all warm and content as well as giving me all positive vibes, I changed into my tunics and leggings to get ready for college.
I am not sure whether Neha is already up or not but I decided not to disturb her right now in case she is sleeping.
Since I was running early today, I decided to have a quick revision of organic chemistry.
Not that I have a liking for the subject or anything. We have a test next week and it's high time that I start studying seriously.
Now, call me what you might but I wouldn't like to spoil my beginning series of tests in Hill Valley. Already being a new student has me obliged to put in more efforts from my side to get along well and that includes matters of academics as well.I opened my textbook and flipped over the pages to reach for my chapter.
Well, It isn't that bad of a subject that I had thought it was. Is it?

Today there is supposed to be some big music programme in the auditorium. The lectures for half the day were thus cancelled.
A very large crowd has gathered here to watch it. All the seats are completely filled and many students who didn't get to catch the seats are standing at the back waiting for the programme to begin.
This, being the first one I am attending has got me all curious to know all about it.
