I recieve an incoming text.

"Merry Christmas you beautiful angel. You were on my Christmas and prayer list. They both came true. I'm eternally thankful for you. I wish we could be together but I understand you're working so I'll leave you to it. I love you Max."

She's so sweet. But. I always win .

I dial up her number and the phone rings.

-Yeah. so you remember when I said I was gonna send you a gift?

-Check outside. I think it should've arrived by now.

It's midnight, Christmas day, they stopped mailing yesterday at 6

She grabs her coat and goes outside to check.

She opens the door and immediately notices the first note which reads "LOOK UP." She looks up at the ceiling and notices the next note which says "LOOK DOWN." She then looks on the floor finding the last note which told her to "LOOK AHEAD."

Gabby squints her eyes trying to see what is to come ahead of her. All she sees is white snow.

Babe. What's going on? What is it?

-Look in the box with the ribbon sitting in the snow.

She searches and finds a green
box with a red ribbon on it. She opens it to see a beautiful diamond earrings.

Oh my gosh. Babe. You remembered.

-I'm not done yet beautiful. Go over to the light pole in the yard. Find the other surprise.

She walks over to the light to find a black box laying there.

Omg babe. What is this?

-Just open it.

She opens it to find a diamond necklace in it.

Babe how? This must've cost a fortune.

-Babygirl you deserve all the riches in the world. I love you so much.

Gabby turns around toward the front door. She screams.

There Max was. On the doorstep. She runs to Max. Jumping on her and kissing her, They were finally reunited.

-Don't worry bout alll dat. *I say jokingly* Just listen. I know I travel a lot because of my job and I have to leave you alone but I don't want you to feel like you're ever alone. Cheeks stroked by tears of joy, she says yes. They kiss and Max places the ring on Gabrielle's finger. Max picks her up bridal style, while they're kissing each other, and carries her into the house. They end on the couch.
