AGH!
Why are my curtains not closed?! It must have been my mother. She swears that a room bathed in light is always going to be better than my "Solitude of Darkness" as she calls it. By now I had started to remember the bizarre dream I had of that man with the knife and the breaking of my window. To think that I thought that was all real.
I slowly started to blink just to help my eyes adjust to my surroundings. After that it was my usual morning routine of stretching and getting ready for the new day. But, like any normal person I got hungry in the mornings. So, I started to make my way downstairs and noticed my parents' door was slightly ajar.
They never left their door open... This was strange. First it was that crazy dream and now this. I need to investigate this, but then again... It was one time they had left it open. I decided to leave it alone. But, my curiosity would have none of that, because I began to move the door in a trance-like state.
Should I open the door?
Why is it even open though?
No, they probably left it open because they lost track of time and forgot to close the door. Yea, it must be that. It makes the most sense...
Creak...
I gingerly walked into the room only to come face to face with my worst nightmare...
My dead parents.
