~one month later~
Sollux opened his eyes. He stood there,white all around him.
He started to panic. "ED!" "Eriidan?!" He shouted for his love.
"Where am II?"
He thought aloud. "A-Am II d-dead?" His voice shook,his legs grew weary knees failing him. He collapsed falling onto his knees. "No...." "Where ii2 he?"
"Now II can't protect hiim.....Now II can't be wiith hiim......" Tears weld in his eyes,he held his face in his hands rivers of tears cascading down his cheeks. "Come here child." He looked up seeing a woman dressed in white,her long brown wavy hair fell past her shoulders. She kneeled down and brought his head to her chest.
"Cry My Child,you have been strong for too long,now weep My Child."
She smelt of honey and lilacs. A motherly essence flowed from her,he hugged her as she brushed her fingers through his hair. They pulled away from each other,he stared into her deep blue eyes.
"Now Child,dry your tears." She said softly whilste moving the hair out of his eyes and wiping his tears away with her thumbs. She kissed his head craddling his face in her palms.
"You still have much to do,My Child."
Sollux awoke in the hospital again. The same white room and nurse checking his vitals.
"Good morning Mr.Captor."
She said turning towards him.
"Hii." "You were saying 'Eridan' in your sleep last night,may I ask who that is?"
"My boyfriend." "Okay,well,we'll let him know how your doing and let him know your going to be alright." She gave him a reassuring smile. "Thank2."
She nodded as the doctor walked in behind her. "I'll take it from here nurse." She left the room.
"Mr.Captor,according to your injuries I'd say you'll be leaving in a month or two,but for now I recommend lots of bed rest,okay?" "Ye2 2iir." "Good,I'll let you sleep for now,you get some rest." The doctor left the room leaving Sollux to sit alone in bed.
Later on the nurse came in again,papers in hand and a look of confusion plastered on her face.
"Mr.Captor,I'm sorry,but we have no record of Eridan. Do you perhaps know his last name?"
"Ampora." "Okay,let me see I'll be back." She left and came back several minute later. "I'm sorry,no record. In fact we have no evidence that Eridan Ampora ever existed,no birth serifacate,nothing!" She gave him a saddened look. Oh yeah,that's right. Now you remeber,YOUR BOYFRIEND IS BASICALLY AN ILLEGAL ALIEN FOR GOD SAKES! No,nope,calm down. "Maybe he was part of your imagination?" Sollux just went ahead with that. He honestly had no idea anymore,for all he knows Eridan Ampora could have been someone he made up. Still doesn't make since that Karkat would fight him over an imaginary boyfriend,maybe that was part of his imagination too.
"Yeah,II gue22 he was." He spoke,his voice trembling as tears weld in his eyes. What if she was right? Had he imagined the whole thing? The thought of it all simply being a dream made him miss Eridan more.
His once pleasant dreams began to feel like nightmares in disguise.
He missed the purple streak in Eridan's hair,his violet irises,and the feeling of his soft lips against his.
Sollux kept his prince forever in his heart.
Eridan on the other hand was indeed real and chained up in a basment.
Who's basment? Karkat's of course.
Eridan belonged to him now after all.
The cancer walked down the basment stairs turning on the light. Eridan shot daggers at him from across the room.
Karkat put down a plate of food next to him undoing the cuffs and gag.
"ARE YOU GOING TO BEHAVE LOVE?" Eridan was really in no position to talk back. He was pale thin and freezing,he currently resembled a dead person begining to decompose.
Karkat fed him small bites of a sandwich and small sips of water here and there. "I HOPE YOU LEARN FROM THIS." He leaned in kissing Eridan's once soft lips that had become cold and dry. He pulled away holding Eridan's hand,he winced in pain as Karkat lifted his sore limb.
The state he was in rendering him to be extremely fragile,almost like a small porcelain doll. Eridan was so dried up he couldn't even cry,small bits of moisture stinging his eyes.
"THERES NO NEED TO CRY LOVE,YOUR GOING TO STAY WITH ME FOREVER,ILL NEVER LEAVE YOU." Eridan felt a lump in his throat.
Surprisingly enough,he shed one tear.
"Y'KNOW,ONCE TEREZI BROKE UP WITH ME,I STARTED GOING OUT WITH MY FRIEND,GAMZEE.
BUT LIKE ALL GOOD THINGS,IT DIDNT LAST LONG,HE HAD BEEN CHEATING ON ME WITH THAT SOULESS BLIND B*TCH."
Karkat remembered having to endure the pain of Gamzee and Terezi,tears threatening to fall.
"BUT ITS OK NOW,I DONT NEED THEM,I HAVE YOU."
"AND NOW YOURE MINE,PERMANENTLY."
