   Third day in Narnia.

I had a reasonable night of sleep, though I was concerned.

Caspian was right: That would be my last chance to see Archenland. This scared me. But, I was at Narnia again for something really bad. Not being negative, but everybody knows: when somebody is called to Narnia, something bad is going to happen.

I was not thinking in myself, but in Caspian and Lilliandil, the narnians, and Sophia too.

I got up from my bed. Took a deep breath and prayed: Aslan, please, take care of us.

I put a blue garb with some gold details. And I went downstairs.

We were at the table eating something, and everybody was talking, except me. My thoughts were many, and my mind was away. Not so away... I think they noticed, but they are very gentil, and didn't asked me what happened, Why I was like this or something like that.

After breakfast, I decided. So, talked to Sophia about my plans of going to Archenland that very day, and if she wanted joining me. She gave me a big and radiant smile and said, "OF COURSE!". Her excitiment made me forget half of my worries.

 - Caspian, we're going. The horses are outside. Everything is prepared. - I said.

 - Alright, my brother. Let me accompany you two outside. - he said.

Sophia mounted a horse, and I another.

 - Are you sure you want to do this, Sophia? - I asked.

 - Yes. Have I already told you? I've ridden horses in our world too, when I was younger. I just hope I have not unlearned.

 - Ok. But if you change your my, you can go with me on the same horse.

 - Ok, thanks... See you soon, Caspian! - she said, moving forward.

 - Until then, Sophia. - Caspian said. - And Ed, - he kind of whispered - promisse me you're going to enjoy it.

 - Yes, I promisse.

 - There's nothing to be worried about.

I saw at his eyes that he knew that there was actualy something to be worried about.

 - So... see you soon! - I said, leaving.

 - See you soon, Ed! - he said, behind me.

I felt a tightness in my throat. But I ignored it.

"Come down, Edmund. Everything is going to be alright.", I thought to myself.

I reached Sophia. She looked to me, at her left.

   - I don't know what's going on but, if you need to hear something, here it is: Everything happens for a reason.

I was paralyzed. Why she was saying that? She don't know nothing. The letter. Tisroc. My thoughts. But she just knew what to say.

She looked forward. I didn't know if I looked at her or forward. Her face was giving me peace at the moment, and my heart was becoming still.

 - Remember our first night here? - I asked, after half an hour without speaking a word.

 - Yes. We both could not sleep. So we stood talking about Narnia, Aslan, your siblings...

 - And now you know everything about Narnia and about me. And I don't even know your last name.

 She laughed.

 - Flores. Sophia Flores.

 - Flores?... Hum... Well, - I said, coming down of the horse and picking up some littles yellow flowers on the ground, - here are some "flores" for you.

   She looked surprised.

 - What? You thought I didn't know that "flores" means "flowers" in portuguese? - I said.

 - Well, I was not expecting that. - she giggled.

 - By the way, Flores is a beautiful name!

 - Thank you! - she said, looking so deep into my eyes.

   I rode the horse again.

   - Well, let's move forward.

I continued to make her questions about her life at London, her parents and siblings and about herself. And I ended up falling in love with her more than the last day.

We were really fast, better saying, the horses. So we arrived in the same day at Anvard. It was night. Actualy, pretty late. There was not even a person outside. It was so quiet there.

 - Must be really late, um. - said Sophia.

 - Yeah! Everybody must be sleeping right now.

 - What are we going to do?

 - Well, let's see if the King is still awake.

We went to the castle. At the gate was a centaur.

 - Good night! - I said.

The centaur said nothing, he just stood looking at me.

 After some seconds...

 - Who are you? - he asked.

 - I'm King Edmund, The Just.
