I apologize for having such a delay on the update, I know many of you were not happy, and are wanting an explanation. I usually never do author’s notes simply because as a reader, I find them distracting and annoying. I was a little disappointed and hurt by one or two of the comments on my previous chapter for not updating. Your comments that you leave always make my day, and have given me enormous confidence as a writer, and for that I thank you. 

The reason I was so long updating was not only because the end of year school, which I’m sure all of you were with me on that stress level. Exams, graduation, this and that, school was not the only that I have had on my plate. Recently I had surgery and I was in the hospital for quite a while, I have been in an intensive recovery and many things that I love to pressure had to be put on hold. This book was one of them. I apologize that I gave no warning of my absence but the surgery was quite a surprise and the recovery has been more intense then expected. 

I am doing fine now but that is my reason for not updating. If this note comes across as a sympathy request, I apologize yet again. This is no sympathy request but plainly an explanation, and response to recent comments. 

I am currently working on Chapter 16, and I hope you all enjoy this story. I have been blown away by your responses to this book and have been deeply inspired to grow as a writer. Thank you for making this book something I could have only imagined, and I can’t wait to see where this book will go.
