Monday came around quick because next thing Lauren knew, she was sitting in film class with her group that was chatting away about their weekend.

"So you and Troy are like...a thing now?" Dinah asked. Ally nodded as a small smile creeped up on her face. The girls all squealed and hugged their friend.

"It's about time," Ally said.

"And you guys got the kiss on tape?" Lauren asked since she left early.

"I did!" Camila exclaimed and jumped out of her seat, causing the green eyed girl to laugh.

"I'm so happy you did that, Mila. Now we can play that at our wedding one day," Ally began daydreaming.

"Woah there, Smalls," Dinah jumped in. "Don't get too ahead of yourself, there. Y'all just became a thing."

Ally shrugged and got into some more girl talk with Dinah and Normani.

"So we should probably find a time this week to rehearse for Friday," Lauren turned to Camila.

The brown eyed girl thought back to when her mother asked her to have Lauren over sometime. This seemed like a good opportunity to ask.

"How about at my house on Wednesday?" she quickly said, almost sounding desperate.

"Yeah, sounds good," Lauren nodded. "And I don't work on Wednesday's so it all works out," she smiled.

Camila returned the smile. She was internally celebrating but also slightly nervous that the green eyed girl would be coming over. Lauren had been to her house before but not inside of her house. It's not that she has a messy house or anything. Just a messy, broken home.

The remainder of the school day went by quickly. For a Monday, people were in awfully good moods and it must've been infectious.

Now, Lauren and Camila walked side by side out of the school laughing about something Camila said, as usual.

The two have really grown close over the past week. So close that neither of them could believe it's only been a week. They talk on the phone a lot when they aren't with each other. They really have formed a solid friendship in such a short amount of time.

"But if pigs had fur then they'd just be hot all the time," Lauren stated once their laughter died down.

"What? Sheeps have fur and you never hear them complaining," Camila shrugged.

"Sheep," she corrected her, " have wool, genius," Lauren playfully rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, 'Grammar Queen'," the smaller girl waved her off.

The two walked in a comfortable silence as Camila followed Lauren to her car. Once they reached the vehicle, Lauren raised an eyebrow at Camila.

"So I'm guessing you want a ride home?"

Camila nodded.

"No 'please'?" the green eyed girl smirked.

She shook her head.

"Then you're outta luck, bucko," Lauren shrugged playfully and got in the driver's seat, starting her car.

"Wait!" Camila yelled from outside the car, walking over and carefully opening the passenger's door. "Please?" she stuck out her bottom lip and gave Lauren the puppy dog eyes.

"Get in," Lauren laughed and Camila immediately hopped in.

How could she say no to those big brown eyes?
