Everything started an afternoon after school, my mom came and told us that dad had got this new job in Chicago and that he didn't regret it... we were moving to Chicago.
So... Here we are! Preparing our baggage and with our mom as a tornado going back and forward carrying full boxes and yelling at us to get our stuff ready. (She gets nervous every time we travel...)
"Mom I can't find my teddy bear..." That's my younger brother, he's 5 years old and doesn't really knows what's going on... No matter how many times we try to explain him.
"Come, I think I know were it is..." Some how I always know were that teddy bear is... I grab the teddy that is inside the bag just in front of me and give it to Arthur.
"All ready kids... We're going!" My dad always optimistic, smiling as if we don't care about leaving our friends, family, hot crushes... I open the taxi's door and jump in, Arthur just behind me and my younger sister, who didn't speak to us since my mom told us, jumps to the back seats.
I put on my headphones and focus on the landscape at the other side of the window, I'm not going to see this for a long time...
I know I'm not taking this very good, and maybe I exaggerating it but men it's a little hard. Not seen Walt anymore... Wait, what?
Time flies, we've arrived. The moment finally came and there's no way of turning back... I'm going to live for I don't know how much time in the U.S.A!
Now I'm feeling excited! What's going on with me?
I take my little brothers hand and get closer to the window in front of us.
"There's our plane! It's big uh? We are going to a place very far away from here..." He looks at me and the to the plane.
"Warning, the flight to Chicago takes off in 15' minutes..." My mom shows our passports and we all get on the plane... Time to say goodbye to home sweet home.
