“This is the best CD ever! Did you mix it yourself?” Bridgit asks, bobbing her head to the beat of the music. “Nah, Ashley made it,” I admit, making her grin. “Thanks for giving me credit!” Ashley hugs me, making me groan.
“She’s drunk already?” I ask Bridgit, who gives me a smug look. “I thought I told you to keep her away from the beer!” I exclaim, looking at Ashley, who was rolling around on my couch, resembling Levi, my dog.
I could tell that Bridgit was a bit drunk because she would have acted a bit more responsible for Ashley. Bridgit is also protective over Ashley, so she wouldn't have just let her get piss faced. But anyway,
Bridgit wasn't a bad drunk. She was more of an easily amused drunk than a slutty drunk, like Ashley.
Speaking of Ashley, she started giggling quietly and I grabbed her off the couch. “Make yourself coffee and drink it black if you're capable. The stuff is in the right cupboard.” I tell Ashley, who shrugs and says that she thinks she’s capable of making herself coffee grumpily.
The doorbell rang a few times and I yelled out, “I'll be there in a minute,” as Bridgit gave me a big smile and two thumbs up.I ran to the couch and picked up Ashley’s purse, which had a compact mirror in it. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and fixed my hair a bit. “You look fine, don't worry. Now, answer the door.” Bridgit tells me, pushing me lightly towards the door.
The doorbell rings a few times again and I groan. “Alright, alright,” I say quietly, but loud enough for them to hear.
I open the door widely and about seven people came in. Just as I was about to close the door, it opened wide and about 40 people, give or take, walked inside.
“God damn it!” I hear Ashley yell from the kitchen. I roll my eyes, thinking of what trouble she would have got into now.
I peered inside the kitchen and saw that Ashley had spilled coffee on her navy blue dress. “Crap!” I exclaim, making people give me dirty looks. “Hey, you're going to be drinking and you're all underage. Don't look at me like that!” I say, and they all shrug, seeing the point that I made.
I walked inside the kitchen and handed Ashley a few paper towel rolls and once she was done drying it, she got mad, realizing that the coffee had left a huge stain on her chest area.
I dragged her upstairs. Well, I mean, not literally, but I took her upstairs inside of my room so that she could pick out another dress.
I opened the door to my walk-in closet and showed her the big area I had for dresses and she grinned at the sight of dresses.
“Listen, Ashely, you know I wouldn't normally do this, but I just don't want you to walk around with that stain on your dress. “Please don't dirty it or . . . lose it.” I say, remembering the last time something like this happened, she was wearing another girl’s dress and shoes. She had no idea where her own dress was, or her shoes.
“Yeah, yeah,” she said, looking through the dresses. She picked up two dresses and put one in front of her, modeling, then putting the other in front of her, modeling again. “Which one looks better?” she asks, as I looked at the two. The first one was silver and sparkly, which was a bit simple, but a good simple. The other one was red, flow-y and long. I don't actually know, I'm just really bad at describing dresses.
“I think the silver one looks best.” I say, nodding my head towards it. “Alright, thank you so much, Soph!” Ashley smiles, kissing me on the cheek. “You didn't drink any coffee, huh?” I ask, frowning slightly. “Nah,” she says, pushing me out of my closet. “Now get out. I have to get dressed,” she says, closing the door to the closet and locking it.
