I stare down at the History test infront of me. My mind went completley blank. Its as if everything I learned the past few weeks flew out of my mind. I'm never going to pass. I huff an uneasy sigh.
I look over towards Phoboe Kobmill. The smartest girl I know who luckily sits just to my left. I try to look over, but she notices me and stetches out her arm out, forcing away my view.
I look over to Jordan, who is a few desks away. He meets my gaze. He just shrugs and looks back to his test. He knows how much Mrs.Silverman hates me. I honestly don't know why. But whatever. I take a deep breath and scribbled whatever came to mind.
**************
"AN F?" I shrieked. Jordan continues to laugh as I look at my paper. "C'mon, Jade. It isn't THAT big of a surprise. Given the fact you didn't study." he smirked. Finally calming down. "I know its not a surprise," I snap. "Its the fact that this is the second test I failed in Silverman's class." I run my hand through my hair. "Man," I groan "my moms going going to kill me..."
***************
"What is this, Jade?" my mom cries. Logan sits on the couch staring at us. She glances back down at my test. "Why didn't you study? You know bettrr than that!" She says. "I'm sorry, Mom." I mumbled. "Well sorry dosen't really cut it, does it?" she gives me an angry look. I shrug, advoding her view. I know sorry doesn't help, but I don't know what else to say.
When mom finished staring me down, she just shuts her eyes and sighed. Her head drops down, looking at the paper in her hands one more time. "Jade." she says. "Jade, look at me." I finally get the courage to stare her directly in the eyes.
"This is the second time you failed a history test. If you don't smarten up, I'm going have to punish you. But for now, no phone for a week." That's when I snap out of my gloomy state. "What? No!" "Jade!" her stern voice warns me of further, more sevre punishment. I reached in my back pocket and pull it out my Iphone. Mom stretched out her hand. I placed my phone in her plam in defeat. We stood there in silence. It seemed that my mother had nothing else to say so I walked out and headed to my room.
****************
I just sit on my bed. All the lights are off. I was supposed to hang out with Jordan in ten minutes. But I not really up for it. The howling of the wind outside my window is very relaxing. I grew more and more tierd. I decided to lay my head down on the pillow. The world became fuzzy and my eye lids became heavy. I let my eyes close and before I knew it, I was asleep.
**I can see her in the corner of the room. Hands tied behind her back, Eyes blindfolded. She's sitting in her own blood. I can clearly see the cuts, scars and bruises. Blood pounds against her ear drums. She screams out to the muffled voices for the millionth time what they want with her. That's when a hand slaps her hard across the face. I can feel the throbbing of her check. She curls up in the corner and cries in her knees.**
I shot up with a gasp. It takes me a minute. It takes me a minute to get back to reality. Still unsure what is my room and what is my nightmare. I notice my hair is drenched in sweat. After but 5 minutes, I get up and walk over to the bathroom.
I strip and run the cold water. Washing away the terrible dream. I've had dreams like this before, but never this bone chilling. I will never get over Kayla's kidnapping. I'm not to sure what I want to think now. I want to figure out this dream. But it was just a dream right? Dreams are just dreams right? I don't know. I was so deep in thought,I barley noticd the water pouring out of the side of the bathtub.
