The door slowly squeaks open. I guess solid metal doors are heavy because it gave us enough time to hide behind the door.
My breath hitches in my throat once the clanking of the men's boots enter the room. "What the hell?" a deep voice growled. "Where did they go?" another asked.
I am so terrified that I barley even noticed that Jordan left my side and was creeping towards them, crow bar tightly in hand.
With two solid swings, both the men dropped to the floor like flies. "Holy shit!" I exclaimed. "Pretty badass right?" He said twirling the crow bar around smugly.
"Very, now lets move." I say motioning to the now open door. We jog out into a massive dark hallway.
Considering the fact Jordan and I were completely knocked unconsious, we have no reclolection on which way we came from, how high up we are and most importantly, the closest exit.
"So, where do you want to start?" he whispers looking around. I snap my head back and forth around each hallway.
I push past Jordan and start walking down the left side of the hallway. I keep the knife tightly clenched in my fist. I have no idea whos lurking through these halls.
I can for sure say that whoever they are they're not going to be pleased when they see Jordan and I.
This place is like a labrynith. With so many twists and turns and dead ends.
I would be surprised if we ever find away out of her. As we continue down the endless halls. I slowly start to lose faith.
"Okay. Do you want to take the lead? Because we are honestly getting nowhere." I say with a sigh. He chuckles lightly as he pushes past me. "Sure."
He leads us down more hallways until we finally come across a promising looking door. Jordan lifts up the crow bar as I grip the knife tighter.
He opens the door and I was relieved to not only find out that no one was in the room but also that it was a stairwell.
The only thing that made my stomach drop was that we where on the highest floor and how long the stairwell was.
"Well this looks promising." He nods. We begin making our treck down the stairs. Catious not to make too much noise.
Who knows who could be around the next corner. I would really like to not lose another tooth.
We progressed are way down the stairs. And as we did so, each level had a door marked with the floor number.
12...11...10..9... It was then that I noticed how high up we were and how big this place is.
We continued down the long dark stairwell until we reached the bottom. The door had a large 1 painted across it.
I'm guessing this is the first level and our way out of this corner of hell.
Jordan raises the crowbar and uses his free hand to carefully turns the doorknob. He slowly pushes the large, metal door.
I peaked my head out catiously at turn my way on either side to see if the coast was clear.
On my left was a large concreat wall, a dead end. And on my right at the end of the long hallway was a group of three men.
I pull my head back. "Well, theres a group of men blocking our only way to freedom." I sigh.
Jordan smirks "I'm sure its noting we can't handle." he says. He wears a smirk but his eyes hold complete horror.
He pushes the door open wide enough for us to get through and slowly making sure that the door doesn't make a giant sound as it closes.
I gulp down as much fear as I could and start slowly creeping towards the men. I grip the knife in my hand so tight. My are piercing my palm and my knuckles are beginning to turn white.
