**The Next Day**:

Seth didn't sleep well the night before, he knew this might be their only way to free Dean and Paige, but that didn't stop him from feeling like he was betraying his brother! He managed to make it through the morning without making Roman suspicious, but as the time to meet with Hunter drew closer Seth's nerves slowly began to get bad!

"You ready dude?" Roman asked, as he came into the room and began looking for his keys.

"Ready? Uh, for what?" Seth asked confused.

"To go see Reed?" Roman answered, as he found his keys and put his jacket on. "You okay Seth? You've been really distracted all morning!" He asked concerned.

"I have...I mean I' am!" Seth answered, mentally kicking himself for letting Roman get suspicious. "I didn't sleep well last night that's all!" He lied. "Thinking about Dean and Paige, I"m worried about them."

"Seth, what's really going on?" Roman questioned, not believing him.

"I...I just told you!"

"No, what you just told me was a bunch of bull!" Roman said cutting Seth off, as he crossed his arms, starring at his brother.

"I really am worried about..."

"Dean and Paige, yeah I heard you!" Roman said sighing, as he cut Seth off. "We should go, Reed's..."

"I'm not going!" Seth said quickly cutting Roman off. "I've got an appointment!"

"Appointment? With who?" Roman asked confused.

"An SI! They called me while you were in the shower, they told me they might have info on a way to free Dean and Paige!" Seth answered, twisting the truth a little.

"Really? Well, I'll cancel with..."

"No! I mean they told me to come alone, or the deal's off!" Seth said quickly cutting Roman off.

Roman starred at Seth quietly, he knew something was going on with his brother, but he also knew from their past that if Seth didn't want Roman to know something, then he wouldn't! He was worried, he could feel something about this was wrong and he hoped whatever was going on Seth would be okay!

"Alright, I've got my phone on! Call me if anything...and I mean anything goes wrong!"

"I will Ro, I promise!"

"Okay, I'm gone! I'll be back in a couple of hours, be safe!" Roman said hugging him.

"I will, I love you!" Seth said smiling.

"I love you too!" Roman replied, as the hug ended. "Call me!" He added, before smiling he left.

A half hour after Roman left Seth paced the room, nervously waiting for Hunter to show up. While he waited he was beginning to regret agreeing to meet with Hunter, he made up his mind, he was going to tell Hunter to go screw himself when he showed up! Suddenly someone knocked on the door, taking a deep breath he went to the door and answered it to find Hunter standing there alone.

"If it isn't the Boy Wonder! Long time no see Agent Pretty Boy!" Hunter greeted Seth smiling.

"Hunter." Seth replied, as Hunter came into the room without being invited. "Come in!" He said sarcastically, as he shut the door.

"Let's get down to business shall we? We only have a couple of hours until Agent Muscle-Head gets back!" Hunter said smiling, as he sat down.

"Wait, how did you..." Seth began, but trailed off. "Know what? Never mind! Let's just get this over with!" He added, as he sat across from Hunter.

**Meanwhile**:

Roman waited impatiently in Reed's office for the Agent to join him. He'd been waiting now for a half an hour and he was beginning to think Reed was screwing with on purpose! Finally Reed came into the room, Roman quickly stood and held his hand out to Reed to shake. Reed went to his desk and sat ignoring him, Roman put his hand down before he sat too and took a deep breath, as Reed spoke annoyed to see Roman again!

"Agent Reigns I'd say it was good to see you, but then I'd be lying!" Reed said angrily.

"Agent Reed, please let me talk to them! I...I just need to make sure they're okay!" Roman begged.

"Agent Reigns, what have I already told you and Agent Rollins? This is an ongoing case and right now you two; and possibly in the foreseeable future, are no longer Agents! Not to mention your personal connection to the suspects!"

"Agent Reed, I know this situation looks bad, but you have to believe me that this is all just a huge mistake!"

"Agent Reigns, I want to believe you and Agent Rollins!" Reed began sighing.

"Thank you sir." Roman said smiling.

"Don't thank me yet! As I was saying, I want to, but I can't! There's too much evidence against the four of you and I can't ignore it! Look Agent Reigns, this isn't personal, I truly like you and Agent Rollins! If you were in my position what would you do?" Reed asked gently.

"Exactly what you're doing." Roman answered quietly, as he sighed.

"Alright Agent Reigns, I'm going against my better judgement here...but I'm going to let you speak to them! One time, for only a few minutes!" Reed said finally giving in, Roman looked at him shocked.

"Thank you sir!" Roman said smiling.

"Agent Reigns, if this truly is what you and Agent Rollins claim it is, then I'll discover the truth and fix things! If it isn't then I will make sure justice is served! Am I clear?"

"Yes sir!" Roman answered.

"Good! You're dismissed!" Reed said smiling, as he picked up the phone and gave the orders to allow Roman to speak to Dean and Paige, as Roman left the office...maybe things were finally going their way!
