"I want answers or even an explanation of why did you abandoned me." Skylar said looking at her eyes.

Mavis nodded and pointed at the chair to sit down.

"I will tell you." Mavis's eyes never left her own daughter's eyes.

~Skylar Pov~

'I want to know the reason why they abandoned me. That's what I want to know more than anything.'

"Your father and I decided, that he would cast a spell that you would put you to sleep until the right someone comes along, as the spell accepts the person, along with your memories."

I continue looking at Mavis's eyes to only see pure sadness.

"We thought it would be best for you and your future."

"That doesn't explain the reason why! You abandoned me!" I exclaimed, narrowing my eyebrows.

"If we hadn't, you would be hidden from the world. Staying in an area not too long. People would want to take you. People would want to use you for evil things. Take you to a prison for the rest of your life because they think you could do evil things,..." Mavis started tearing up while I looked at her by surprise.

"They think you would follow your father's footsteps of destruction. What he has done in the pass."

"When you were just a child. You wouldn't have, this freedom you have now. You have friends now, right. Back then you wouldn't be able to make friends." She said while tears roll down her cheeks.

'If I had stayed, I would lock up in prison just because they thought I would follow my father's footsteps of destruction. How can they be so cruel, judging a child from their parents. Don't they have humanity in them,'

Without realising it, I was having cheeks, running down my cheeks, 'It was all for my future. ' Putting my hand on my cheeks, wiping off the tears, but it didn't make it stop.

"You did it all for my future while you and my father suffer from me not being there? Losing your own child and sacrificing to not see my first spell cast correctly, being protective over me, not seeing me grow up." I spoke while covering my face behind my hands.

My emotions were all over the place that I couldn't control.

I started crying, letting out that feeling of being abandoned, not to reply on someone to protect me all those years, but it was for my own good to have a better future.

But finding out my parents loved her so much to go that far to cast a spell that would protect her until her adopted Father found her.

Letting out all of her emotions that bolted up in her over the years, questioning herself.

Mavis started to tear up seeing Skylar accepting her and understanding the reason, she told her.

She only told the half of the reason. She thinks Skylar isn't ready for the other half of the reason, but is going to tell her at the right time.

Mavis slowly walks over to Skylar and hugs her just to catch her off guard.

Making Skylar cry harder, feeling her own mother's warmth of love, never felt a mother's warmth that was filled with love.

She couldn't hug back cause Mavis is a ghost, but feel her presence.

Meanwhile, Zeref looking at the light blue sky with white puffy clouds, resting his arms on a balcony showing a country and close his eyes to feel the wind passing him.

"Your Majesty," Causing him to snap out of his thoughts, opening his eyes, and tilted his head back.
