The following are faery weaknesses, things that can be used against the fey.
Cold Iron: if a fae is pierced by or entrapped in Cold iron it will weaken them hampering or even canceling their abilities depending on the duration of their contact with it. Iron that has been enchanted like weapons is not considered cold iron.
Shiny Objects: Fae are susceptible to shiny objects. While this particular weakness does not incapacitate them, it could possibly be useful in distracting them.
Witch Hazel wands and staves: Witch Hazel wands and staves can break a Fae glamour.
Lemons and Limes: Lemons and limes are poisonous to fairies.
Silver: they burn when they are touched with silver.
Fire: it should be obvious
Sugar/Salt: If someone pours salt or sugar in front of them, they have to stop to count each grain one by one.
Cream: They also love cream, which, like alcohol, intoxicates them.
Sunglasses: The only way to combat fairy Mesmer is to wear reflective sunglasses or not look them in the eye.
Holy objects (repel them), holy ground (cannot set foot on it)
Holy water: Burns them
Water that travels west: They can't cross it, unless they're water faeries.
Fire: obviously it burns them unless they're fire faeries.
Bells, especially church bells hurt their ears and scare them away, the louder the better. The bells have to be the type of bell morris dancers wear, church bells or the type of bell you put on a sheep, cow or an ox.
Precise conversation: Faeries cannot lie, but you must very technical with them or they may not tell you the entire truth.
For example if a faery promises not to harm you, they cannot, but there is nothing stopping them from having others harm you. However; if a faery promises that no harm will come to you they must do everything within their power to keep you safe.
Oath: Faeries cannot break promises.
