A/N: I tried to avoid this, but Harry Styles is the closest person I see fitting Oliver. You can Imagine Oliver as whom ever you'd like, but for those wondering. ^thats how I see him.

I never liked sleeping in past 8:30. I didn't understand people who could sleep until noon. I mean that's half of their perfectly good day wasted. Id been an early bird since I was 7. Sleep became my enemy after my mom passed away. So last night when Neither MJ nor Carleigh had called me I had stayed up till 3. I only received a text from MJ at 3:30 a.m. to tell me they were still working out all the fine details but to be at there house at 10 for brunch. I didn't question it and but since I didn't fall asleep until 4 am it was now 9:47 and I was just now getting out of the shower. I had quickly towel dried my hair and slipped on a pair of light denim boyfriend jeans with holes in the knees. I grabbed a baggy white shirt and some black converse shoes and headed out the door. I ran to my bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and throw on my Joe Malone perfume and then headed down stairs. I yelled goodbye to my father whom may or may not have been their and then grabbed my purse and ran out the door.

I made it to the Hughes' home at 10:12 and ran to the door step completely out of breathe.
Lorraine opened the door and looked taken back by my worn out figure.
"Darling, was someone chasing you? Do I need to call the police. Oh Oliver dear can you come here?"
"No, Lorraine." I managed out. "I was just running late for brunch with the girls."
"Oh brunch! Yes I forgot to tell you-"
"Yes Mrs. Lorraine?" Oliver cut in, then looked at me, "what happened to you?"
"I just ran here and I'm really exhausted." I said my heart rate now declining and my breathing evening out. I was shocked at how attractive Oliver was with his brown hair pulled back into a bun. He wore a White v-neck with a black jacket and black straight jeans with black converse, similar to mine. And did he look good.
"Oh."
"Yes well Verny, the girls told me to tell you they already left and that you will be riding with Oliver."
"Why did they already leave I'm only like 15 mins late?" I asked.
"Something about reservations would be cancelled I think."
I merely nodded.
"You ready?" Oliver asked me as Lorraine smiled then dismissed herself.
"Umm, yeah. When did you get a car?"
"Oh, about that." He said scratching the back of his neck. "Lorraine gave me hers to use until I can get my own."
"You get to drive the Lorainger?" I asked in disbelief. No one and I mean no one ever touched Lorraine's car. It was a charcoal Range Rover with chrome detailing. The interior was all black, with leather seating and tinted windows. Let's just say it is one nice vehicle.
"Yeah, I tried to tell her no, but Lorraine." He said shrugging.
I looked at him for a moment then gave him a cheeky grin.
"What?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows.
"You are currently in possession of the Loraingers keys. Why are we just standing here?"
"I have no clue." He replied then we both took off in a full sprint towards the car.
I ran around the back to the passenger side but was met with Oliver. He smiled and then opened the door. I walked over to the opened car door, being hit with the smell of leather then paused and looked at him.
"Thank you."
"You're very welcome." He smiled.
Once he closed the door he jogged to the drivers side and hopped in.
"That was a good save." I said grinning at him.
"What?"
"You forgot us yanks do it the other way around, didn't you?"
"Dang it, how'd you know?" He said sheepishly.
I just laughed as he turned on the car and reversed out the driveway.

When we made it to the place for brunch my breathe was gone and I was heaving loudly.
"You totally killed it, but how could I not win?!" I huffed out.
"I mean Misery Business was a good choice but Your Sex is On Fire shall win every time."  He replied shrugging.
"Well who made you the judge?" I grumbled as I opened my door.
"Oh get your knickers out of your arse and we will call it a tie."
"Thank you." I beamed as we walked towards the building side by side.
"But that's a shame. Because winner was going to buy lunch, but since it's a tie.." He shrugged letting his voice wander off.
"I volunteer as tribute to lose."  I said quickly.
I'd only been on a few dates and none of them were as attractive as Oliver. I'm not saying this is a date I mean MJ and Carleigh are here, but let's get real if he bought my lunch it would fulfill the hopeless romantic side in me.
"Sucker." He laughed the opened the door for me.
I blushed but walked in to Glen's Cafe. The place was normally a low lit room, but  because of the sun peering in through the windows it was brighter. It was an upper end place with dark wood and candles with cream and black furniture. This was typically the place you eat dinner, but it did have the best chocolate pancakes around town so the girls and I made it our brunch place.
"May I help you?" This young waitress maybe in her early 20's asked rudely. Oliver and I turned around and her whole demeanor changed. She smiled at Oliver and twirled her hair around with her finger and licked her lips like he was a cupcake she'd throw up later. Okay that was mean, but I couldn't help the twinge of jealousy that pulsed through my body as I saw her eye raping him.
"Yes we are with the Hughes" I snapped.
"Mm." Was her lovely response to me, then smiled back to Oliver,"right this way." Then she guided us to the upstairs balcony. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the way she swayed her hips excessively as she walked. When we made it to the balcony MJ and Carleigh weren't even there.
"Here you are." She smiled.
"Weren't there two girls here already?" I asked.
"Yes they checked in then said they had to run an errand and would be right back." She said in a bored tone then left.
"Do you know what's going on?" I asked Oliver as we sat down. The round table was set for 7, so I couldn't help but notice Oliver sitting down beside me.
"No, not really." He said avoiding eye contact. He knew something.
"Ollie, I hate surprises." I groaned.
"Janie, I refuse to fold under your nagging." He said smirking."also I thought it was cute how jealous you were."
