"Aunty Ally!" Seth giggled hysterically as his sister opened the door, a giddy smile forming on his lips as he saw Ally walking to the kitchen, causing the woman to turn around at the sound of her name, a smile forming on her face when she saw Seth. Ally opened her arms wide as she invited the boy in, groaning slightly as Seth giggled and crashed into her, ignoring the fact that he was almost her height, which was totally not fair.
"Seth!" Ally cheered, hugging the boy tight despite the brief amount of pain at being hugged so tight, "how are you?"
"Good," Seth said happily, taking a step back and smiling at the woman, "where is everyone?"
"Well you know," Ally said with a small chuckle, "we all seem to be everywhere and anywhere around the house."
"Yeah, yeah," Seth said with another giggle, taking his eyes away from his aunt to look into the living room, smiling when he saw the back of his Aunt Mila's head, "house is so big you can get lost in it."
"Is that sass I'm detecting?" Ally asked with a playful glare.
"I learn from the greatest." Seth said with another giggle before he ran into the living room, jumping on the unsuspecting victim, a loud groan heard just a few seconds later, Ally and Dinah giggling when Camila began to whine before she realized who it was and crushed him in a hug.
"I'm glad you're back," Ally said, turning back to the taller woman, her brown eyes storming with different emotions. On one hand, she understood completely why Dinah had taken that decision, she understood that Dinah had a point and it was clearly not a good enough point to ask their girlfriend to leave. On the other hand, she was still bothered by the fact that Dinah had taken such a big decision by herself and the way hurtful words had been bounced around during the fight.
"I have to take Seth back later, so I won't be back until Monday," Dinah said with an awkward nod, "at best."
"Oh," Ally said, nodding her own head while she frowned, now noticing that Dinah still didn't have her suitcase with her, "will you be staying till dinner?"
"Of course, I don't want Anna or Nate to think something is wrong," Dinah said, nodding her head again as she smiled at the shorter woman, choosing to ignore the hurt look that flashed in brown eyes before the smaller woman nodded her head again and turned to the kitchen, stepping on her toes to place a kiss on the taller woman's cheek.
Dinah moved to the living room, chuckling when she saw Seth talking animatedly with Camila, the older woman looking at her with wounded puppy eyes once she had spotted Dinah.
"And then we went to this museum that had these big dinosaurs, it was so cool!" Seth said again, his hands moving as he talked, a large smile on his face.
"I bet," Camila said, turning back to Nate, opening her eyes in mock surprise, "they were really big huh?"
"Oh, yeah," Seth said with a firm nod, his eyes widening as if to prove so, "it was bigger than Dinah!"
"I think a lot of things are bigger than me Seth or are you trying to say something?," Dinah said with a chuckle, the eight year old shrugging his shoulders and chuckling a little before he continued with his conversation, deeming Camila more important for the time being.
"And guess what!?" Seth asked.
"What!?" Camila asked, portraying the same amount of excitement, which only resulted in making the boy bounce on the sofa again, his excitement clear from a mile away.
