Chapter Two: Steven

I Do NOT Own Steven Universe, I only own my OC, Emerald. Enjoy Chapter two of

"Whew! Building a house is hard. How's that ukulele treating you?" Greg asked Steven as he looked for a bottle of water in the back of his van.

"Did you give him that instrument?' Pearl asked, and was handed a bottle of water. "Yeah! He's picking it up so fast I'm running out of things to teach him." Greg then prompted Steven the song he had written for us. "Yeah! We'll like it, even if it's bad!" Amethyst exclaimed, and was reprimanded by Pearl, "Amethyst!. It's true though." I chuckled and ruffled Stevens hair, "Yeah. I'm sure it'll be lovely Steven."

Steven took a deep breath then,

"If you're evil and you're on the rise,

you can count on the five of us, taking you down.

Cuz' we're good and evil never beats us,

we'll win the fight, and then go out for pizzas!

We are the Crystal Gems,

we'll always save the day.

And if you think we can't, we'll,

always find a way. That's why the people,

Of. This. World, believe in:

Garnet, Emerald, Amethyst, and Pearl, and Steven!"

Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst and I clapped and gave Steven a hug, and in a few weeks, the house was done and Steven could move in. Of course, he visited his dad almost every day at his car wash.

*WWRRPP*

"You guys are back!" Steven exclaimed, when we stepped off the warp pad.

"Yeah. It was awesome!" Amethyst grinned, throwing her hands up into the air.

"Speak for yourself, that thing tried to eat my scythe!" I ruffled Stevens hair, and grinned when he laughed and tried to push my hand away.

"I wanna go next time!" he exclaimed, looking towards Pearl.

"Steven, these missions are very dan-" "They're awesome!" I butted in, thinking about how much Steven would enjoy going with us.

"They're dangerous Emerald. Stevens not old enough to-"

"You can come next time Steven." Pearl was interrupted yet again, this time by Garnet.

"But-" Pearl started, then seeing Stevens happy face, she sighed and told him, "Steven. These missions are dangerous, so you have to be very careful."

The grin on Stevens face lit up the room.

I had just go back from getting Amethyst and Steven their donuts when Steven dropped a box on my lap.

"What is it Steven?"

"It's what I ordered! Cheeseburger Backpack!" Steven exclaimed, grinning. He ran around picking up random items in his room saying, "We'll need this on the mission!"

When we got to the Temple, it was covered in these shrimp-like creatures, and Pearl was quick to take charge, "Amethyst! if you go there, Emerald goes there and Garnet, you go on the ceiling, and you-"

"Lets just smash 'em all!" Amethyst and I yelled, interrupting Pearl. "No no no! listen, if-" Steven chose that time to throw a sub to the side of the room, and all the shrimp followed it.

"Just to be clear, my plan would have worked too..." Pearl said, frowning at me.

The temple ended up being destroyed, but Steven did very well on the mission, and he would be going on (most of) the others.
