Dangerous Love

VII~~~The Phone Call

     It had been a week since Ayato had gone to school. He claimed he had the flu. It was quite believable considering how frail his body was. His immune system didn't work very well after all. By the beginning of the new week he was going back to school and continued walking to class with Hikaru who would often catch him off guard and kiss him. It was as if Hikaru knew Ayato needed to know that he had someone he could count on and who would love him.

      It was during lunch time when Ayato had gotten an unexpected phone call. Tomoya was coming to visit! He had not physically seen his brother in almost 11 years. But was able to keep in touch with him. Tomoya was not allowed to contact his younger brother since he moved to England with their mum.

Both Ayato and Tomoya were half English on their mum's side, and half Japanese on their fathers side. They both spoke English fluently as well as Japanese as their mum rarely ever spoke Japanese to them when they were all still living together. She only ever spoke Japanese to their father.

     Tomoya was able to sneak and send a quick letter to his kid brother with only his phone number written on it. That was sent about 5 years after Tomoya was forced to move away with his mother. By that time he had his own cellphone. Their mother had always favored Tomoya over Ayato even though she was stern with Tomoya. Ayato did not have a cellphone but he was able to sneak in a phone call whenever their father was passed out drunk.

     For years they spoke in secret. If either one of their parents caught on it would have been rough on the both of them.  Tomoya was three years older then Ayato meaning he would be 19 by now. He was out of living under his mothers manipulative control and living with his girlfriend who was already pregnant with his child. 

     At 15 Ayato had gotten his first cellphone. Hikaru was the first one to text him. But then again it was easier to get the number to Hikaru then to Tomoya, so his brother was his first phone call. Even though the time frames were completely different in England and Japan, Tomoya always made sure to send Ayato texts and call him, leaving voicemail if he needed too. He wanted to let his brother know that he cared about him.

      Ayato spoke to him softly. It was clear that he was excited. He looked at Hikaru with a big grin. All three of them used to play together, well it was Tomoya who actually met Hikaru first. He didn't know Ayato met him so when he went to bring him to meet Hikaru they already knew each other. Tomoya was the one who had to introduce playing with Hikaru as Ayato was terrified of the boy. He would gradually ease his kid brother into activities and games until one or both of their parents came to collect them.

      "Ayato?" he tilted his head looking at his boyfriend worriedly.

     "Onii-chan is coming! He is coming to live here!! He will be here on Friday!" he beamed.

     He grinned "really?! That's awesome! I can't wait to see him!"

     Tomoya was like an onii-chan to Hikaru as well since Hikaru did not have any siblings. Today went from ok to amazing in barely under three minutes!
