Star's Dream Part One- Starco Prom

Prom Confession

"I just...love you!!"

A huge sigh of relief escaped from Marco's mouth as he felt a huge weight being lifted from his chest.

"Ha. Karma for the stairs prank..." Star said before Marco's hands slid behind her neck and pushed Star closer to Marco and finally they had their first kiss!

A staggering shock of energy shot straight into her veins, straight into her heart. Both of their heart rates were rapidly increasing and in sync too! Star was blown away by the amount of emotions she was facing. She was going to faint but prevented herself from doing so, so she could feel the kiss just for a little longer. Marco pulled himself away from Star before people saw their first kiss.

Star had this unexplainable warm, fuzzy feeling in her heart which was also warming her skin as the hall was frigid by the industrial air conditioners at the top of the hall which was only possible because of one of many Brittney father's large donations to the school. She had a sigh of yearning as both of them blushed intensely.

"This is how I blush, Marco" Star pointed to her glowing hearts, "sorry for not telling you earlier, I didn't want you to know that I liked you. I thought it would affect our friendship so I kept my mouth shut."

"Yeah, I kinda knew. It was pretty obvious" Marco uttered as he grabbed she hand and guided her back to the dance floor.

Marco began scavenging for something in his pocket and eventually took out a black fuzzy case and placed it gently onto Star's palm.

"Here, open this" Marco said while grinning.

Star pulled off the lid of the box like the buns of a hamburger, speaking of which, she was hungry and should have grabbed a bite before returning to the dance floor.

Opening the box, revealed a small ring surrounded by black stuffing. Star passed the box to Marco and observed the ring, It was made of a shiny white metal, with a metalwork designs mimicking the shape of leaves and a carefully crafted wire flower with a radiant red gemstone in the shape of heart in middle of it but half of it was missing.

"Wow Marco! This looks amazing! What is it...? Why is half of the heart missing?" Star asked with a curious smile.

"That is a promise ring, it's my token for our new relationship we're developing. Also half of it is missing for this"

Marco pressed his finger with the ring on it against Star's and combined it together with Star's, together they formed a complete heart-shaped gem.

"Awww, thanks Marco, now I feel bad for not getting you anything."

"It's okay, I already got the best gift, you!"

Star chuckled at what Marco said. After a night's worth of dancing and snacking on refreshments, they promenaded along the beach before heading back to home while holding each other's hand. Star was awed by the night sky and pointed her other hand toward the night sky.

"Look Marco! Look how beautiful it is!"

The vast, seemingly empty, space was filled with glittering, diamond-like stars. They had never took the time to appreciate how beautiful it was. Eventually, they arrived at the front door and realised it was already 11pm.

They said their good nights to each other and headed into their bedrooms before Star said

"Hey Marco, ...do you want to sleep together tonight? It can be my token for our new relationship."

Star started blushing after Marco said yes and they snuggled into Star's king-sized bed.

It may seem like the end, but their adventure is only beginning.
