After Mrs. Amelia said yes, we walked home and packed some clothes.
My mom was not home yet so we got the key out of the flower pot and opened the door. The "alarm" (my dog) started to go off. He ran towards me and when he realized it was me he calmed down, and started to walk to my room. I also walked to my room while Chris walked to the kitchen. After I got all my things I went to the kitchen and saw that Chris had gotten into the nutella. "Chris we need to go to your house now. Before you eat all the nutella.
"But it's so good!" Chris replied. I took the jar, put it away, grabbed Chris by the arm, and dragged her away. Chris opened the door and ran up the stairs. I ran in front of her so her little sisters wouldn't see me, because if they did we would never leave. Chris got some extra clothes, stuffed them into a bag, and ran back downstairs. "Quick, out the door!" Chris loudly, whispered. We rushed out the door and closed it behind us.
We walked back to the barn trying not to think of all the bad things that could have happened to the horses. Once we got there we walked through the barn and up the stairs leading to the loft. We dropped our stuff and picked up the note Taylor had left us. It said: "Girls, sense you are staying the night I thought ya'll could put blankets on the horses for me. Thank you! Taylor."
"Ok, so lets get that done." Chris said. "You take this half of the barn and I'll take this half." She said indicating with her fingers. We each walked to our section and started to put the blankets on the horses. Once we were finished it was about 7:00. We stayed up talking a little bit. Then everything started to fade away.
