Ravens P.O.V     two weeks later.

I walked into the apartment I had just rented. My furniture filled little enough of the space. My phone blared at me, playing 'Mr. Know-It-All' by Kelly Clarkson, my sisters personal favorite.

"Hello." I answered.

"Hi." My sister answered back.

"Why are you calling? Did you come by some sudden windfall and can now afford overseas calls? You do know that sharing is caring." I joked. My sister had as much money as me. translation: practically none.

"No, I just wanted a name."

"Ah, the joys of having a twin sister. What would I do without Twin ESP? His name is Dexter Vex." Of course I knew she knew. If i close my eyes and concentrate, I can practically read her exact thoughts, no matter how far apart we are, and visa-versa.

"LIAM! I GOT A NAME!" I heard my sister bellow away from the phone. "So whats he like? Does he have a brother, cousin, best mate?"

"Sienna, what happened to the Bailey boy? You haven't left him already!" I knew she had, but she loved giving me details. daddy used to say we were meant to be one person, and nothing felt right unless we knew absolutely everything about each other. it had always been that way.

"He bored me. Who thinks watching cattle, literally, is a good date? So, this Dexter, mortal, elemental, or adept?"

The door opened and Dexter walked through.

"Speak of the Devil." I said.

"Who is it?" Dexter asked.

"My twin sister. The wonders of Twin ESP."

"Are you still there." asked Sienna.

"Yes."

"So!"

"For pity's sake. Hes an Adept. Anything else?" I tried to sound frustrated, but i failed.

"Me and Liam are following you over. The plane lands tomorrow. Don't bother picking us up, we're coming to yours. Bye."

"Bye." this time i was really frustrated.

"So?" Asked Dexter

"I'm just so special that my family has to follow me."

"That's bad?"

"Sienna hasn't thought it through. you just can't take Liam anywhere at the drop of a hat! He's a vampire for crying out loud! And Sienna's a natural born fearmongerer whose first reaction if she gets confused, scared or upset is 'scare everyone'. I love them dearly, but what am I going to do with them?" I exclaimed.

"We will figure it out."

"I know we will." I replied, and kissed him.

The kiss began to build. Dexter's hands tangled in my hair, and my hands rested on his chest. I started undoing the buttons on his shirt when the door opened, and we jumped like we'd got an electric shock.

"Ah... I'll wait." said Saracen, looking a little abashed.

"No, I'm coming. Give me five." Said Dexter.

Saracen closed the door, and Dexter ran his hands up my back, whispered "I'll be back soon." and left.
