I wake up to the smell of bacon and eggs. I get changed before leaving Noah’s room. His mattress is still there but the covers are all neat and tidy, like no one had ever slept in it. My attempt to make his bed proves to be rewarding when i realise that I accomplished my goal to get it to look like it was done properly. I make way downstairs, hoping I’m not too far from finding the kitchen. I follow the sound of Noah’s husky voice and stop at the doorway to hear him telling his mum about me. He notices me straight away and we exchange a smile.
“Speak of the devil.” He sends me a devious smirk. Still staring at me, he introduces me to his mum. “Mum this is Mia, Mia this is my mum, April.”
I finally break the lock I have on Noah’s eyes and look at his mum’s. She’s stunning! My jaw drops a just a little. He looks just like her.
“Hi Ms Keller it’s so nice to meet you.” I smile and reach out to shake her hand.
She shakes her head and gestures a hug instead. “No honey, firstly call me April and secondly the pleasure is all mine.” She looks at me from head to toe with her hands on my shoulders. I glance at Noah who is on the brink of exploding with laughter. I look at him puzzled. “My goodness, you are so beautiful.” I blush like crazy.
“Um, thank you.” I say unsure what else to say. I look up at Noah and pull my mouth to one side.
He shrugs his shoulders. “She has a point.”
I smile at both of them and claim my seat at the counter. April asks what we were up to today which ends the focus on me. Apparently Noah is planning to take me to the beach and beachside markets.
“You are crazy; seriously psychotic!” I say. “You are kidding right?”
He laughs. “No way, it’ll be fun!” My face twists, not liking this idea. “Don’t worry, in summer it is warm during the day, I promise.” I drop my shoulders and focus my attention on breakfast. After, I begin to help her tidy up.
“What are you doing?” Noah asks. I look at him confused. “You have to go change!”
I look down at my outfit. I’m wearing jeans, and a thick plain singlet, with my Lakers hoodie jumper over it. “What’s wrong with this?”
“The beach is defined as the place where girls are beautiful, elegant, and charmingly hot! B.E.A.C.H!” He expresses. I roll my eyes, but admit it's pretty creative. “Go put some shorts on, with a shirt where you can see your arms and don’t forget the swimmers!”
I let out a grown and throw the dish cloth at him. “You’re full of crap!” I say on my way back to his room. I look through my bags for something, If not anything that is beach worthy. I find my shredded green short shorts and a low cut, very thin white singlet, which I compete with a brown belt and a low necklace. I put my hair in a ponytail and quickly curl two stands down either side of my face. Underneath my top you can clearly see my blue bikini and the ties on my bikini bottom hang from either side of my shorts. I add a few bangles, and wear my gold head piece that sits just before my hair line, which makes me look like an Egyptian goddess. To finish my outfit, I add my sandy coloured gladiators, along with my DC sunglasses. I do a final mirror check and discover that I look really good!
At the moment, I remember that I have to call Rhys and Nay. I start with Rhys and it doesn’t take long before he answers. We have the usual how are you routine.
“It’s good to hear that you’re having fun. Though, I’m not sure how much fun being in a hotel alone on holiday can be!” He laughs at me.
“Yeah well it’s good to have some time to myself. There’s a pool, plus free room service. It’s hard to complain!”
“Fair enough, I wish I could say the same, but work is keeping my busier than usual. Actually, I really have to go. I have a meeting in ten minutes and it’s at next doors building. So I’ll talk to you tonight?”
