When The Lights Go Down CONTINUED...

Prove Me Wrong

*The black SUV pulls up and B reluctantly opens the door and climbs inside. She takes a somewhat uncomfortable seat next to Nick and closes the door, Mom turns around from the front and gives her a once over look before returning her eyes forward...Joe looks at B sympathetically and she manages a somewhat less than gloomy smile. When the SUV pulls up outside the hotel, Big Rob hops out first followed by B and the rest of the Jonai clan and all head into the hotel. When they reach the correct floor Nick makes his way towards his room and B, knowing she is sharing a room follows silently in tow. When they reach the room Nick slips his keycard into the door and opens the door for B, she enters the suite and sets her suitcase down before plopping on the bed. There are a couple quiet minutes between the twins before the door opens and Mom walks in*

(Bailey)*stands up and immediately starts in on the defense* Before you start yelling at me I think this is totally unfair, I didn't do anything wrong, I asked you if Miley could come pick me up and you said yes it was just a misunderstanding of time...

(Mom) *calm* Bailey...

(Bailey) *still on the defense* AND I let Kevy know when I was leaving and he was supposed to tell you so its not like I just slipped out without letting anyone know....

(Mom) *calm* Bailey...

(Bailey) PLUS its not like I was missing out on spending time with family or anything seeing as how Nick pretty much hates me right now...I might as well stay out of the way and spend time with Miley, at least she wants me around...

(Mom) BAILEY

*Bailey immediately hushes*

(Mom) I'm not mad about you going with Miley...I realize that was a misunderstanding

(Bailey) well, then why did I have to cancel my lunch with Miles if you weren't mad?

(Mom) what lost you your lunch with Miley was your attitude...not the fact that you left, although from now on we need to be a little more clear with our intention of plans, I'm not too keen on thinking one of my children has disappeared

*B shut her mouth and sighs*

(Mom) now, Big Rob is going on a run in a bit for lunch I just came to see if you guys wanted anything in particular?

(Bailey) no, whatever is fine

*Nick shakes his head no*

(Mom) alright...I'll have someone run your lunch down when he gets back

*Mom stands up and walks out, B sighs and kicks off her shoes before crawling up onto the bed and burying her face in the pillow. B hears Nick's shoes bounce against the wall as he kicks them off and feels the bed shift as he climbs up and lays next to her flipping on the tv to sportscenter. B flips her head to face Nick and waits for a couple minutes for him to say something, when he continues to watch tv without notice of her she flips her head to face the opposite direction and lets out a frustrated sigh before getting up and grabbing her phone and taking it into the bathroom shutting the door behind her*

(Bailey text) Nick hates me ☹

(Sam text) no he doesn't babe

(Bailey text) you aren't here, you don't know

(Sam text) I don't have to be there to know...what happened

(Bailey text) he likes a girl....he is mad because I said some things he didn't want to hear

(Sam text) you don't like her?

(Bailey text) I do....just bad feeling about her....I don't want him to get hurt

(Sam text) sorry ☹

*Knock on the door*

(Nick) I know you are in there texting about me....can you come out please

(Bailey text) gtg...Nick needs the bathroom

(Sam text) K love you

(Bailey text) awww... 🙂 love you too

*B opens the bathroom door and walks out*

(Bailey) sorry....it's all yours *walks over and plops face down on the pillow again*

*Nick shakes his head, walks over and lays down next to B on his back*

(Nick) I didn't need the bathroom, I wanted you to come out so we could talk

*B turns her head to face Nick*

(Bailey) last time I checked you didn't care about what I had to say

(Nick) *sigh* I DO care about what you have to say....thats the problem

*B shoves her face back in the pillow with a huff*

(Nick) I just want you to give Izzy a chance....get to know her a little bit before you decide you hate her

(Bailey) GAH...*punches pillow* I DON'T hate her! I like her, I think she is very sweet and she is beautiful and she genuinely seems to like you...

(Nick) *cocks a brow* well...I can see why you freaked out on me so much then

(Bailey) *deep breath* Look, I'm going to say this one time... I want you to really hear me and then I will shut my mouth and be supportive of this thing with you and Izzy because It's killing me you being mad at me

(Nick) I'm not...

(Bailey) or frustrated...or whatever...I'm going to say my piece and then we close it...

(Nick) ok...

(Bailey) I think Izzy is sweet, she seems to genuinely like you, I can tell because she got really nervous when I was near her and I like that...she gets that impressing me, or at least my liking her is important. I can tell you like her too...BUT I don't want you to get hurt, and if I'm completely honest I just see this ending really badly, she left her family to pursue gymnastics...you told me how much they train and I just honestly don't see how she could work a relationship into the mix...when you are 100% dedicated to one thing it makes it hard to fit in anything else, we leave for tour in two weeks....at best you will have a strained long distance relationship, and from what I heard she isn't even allowed to date, so it would have to be secret which just gets even more tricky but Mom is right, you don't need my approval to date someone so if you want to date her...then date her...

(Nick) I don't need your approval, but I'd like your approval...your opinion is important to me

(Bailey) My opinion is, she is sweet and I think she really likes you...my fear is that she will break your heart....maybe she will prove me wrong...I hope she does.
