Falling for her. (Rilaya)

Chapter 2.

Riley's pov.
It was now pe class and I was in the changing rooms. Everyone had finished getting changed and it was just me.

Yes I'm a very slow changer but hey Atleast I get less time doing pe. I put my normal clothes in my bag and about to walk out wearing school uniform when the door flew open.

Maya walked throw the doors alone and groaned "I thought I would be the only one here, that's why I'm always late."

I then say "I was just leaving." I say trying to walk past when she grabs my hand and slams me up against he wall.

"As I said before, I want you no where near me and being here isn't being far away from me, it's actually worst. And did you tell your daddy I was so called "Bullying" you? Because your daddy only teaches things that goes on in people's life. So your going to pay for that."

I then whimper "I said nothing.." She slaps me hard "lair!" I hold my face and she says "Oh stop being pussy, I didn't slap you that hard."

I look down and she punches me in the gut "when I'm talking to you, you look at me!" She yells and i falls to the ground groaning and holding her stomach.

"Man your weak, I didn't even punch you hard. You wanna see how hard I can go?" I shake my head violently "N-no" I croak.

"I want you to beg for mercy." She smirks and I say "Please Maya, don't hurt me, please leave me alone and let me get to class"

Maya thinks for a moment and says "Fine, but if you tell anyone you will get it worst!" She growls and let's me stand up. I get up fast and run out of the changing rooms.

I walk over to the pe teacher and he says "Your late Riley, I heard this is the second time your late to class, I know your new here but rules go for everyone, last warning or else detention."

I nod and he says "Ok today were playing baseball, you all know thrilled and Riley, just copy your tea- oh glad you can join us Maya." He says and Maya walks over to our group. She glares at me and I look away.

The teacher splits our class into two teams and luckily me and Maya were in different teams. I was in batting team first and Maya's team was fielding. The random tall handsome boy was the pitcher and I held the bad in my hand.

"Just hit the ball, and run to the first base, don't think about anything else" my team says and he pitches me the ball. I could tell he was going easy because, well it was easy.

I hit the ball and it goes flying over people's head. I run to the first base, then the second since they still havent picked up the ball. I went to the third base and everyone was screaming "Home run, home run!" I run for home run and they only just picked up the ball when I make It home base.My team gave me high fives and cheered and I never felt more alive!

After they got  three people out of our team it was our time to field. I pick my my baseball glove and put it on my left hand. I stand waiting for the ball. Lots of batters went and I manage to get two people out and stopped people getting home runs until it was Maya's turn.

I stand waiting for Maya to hit her ball and she smirks at me and the pitcher throws the ball and she whacks the ball right towards me and it hits my eye. I fall to the ground holding my eye since it was kinda bleeding around the eyelids.

Everyone runs over to check if I was ok and the teacher says "Go to the nurses office" Maya then says "I'll take her, I accidentally hit it that hard so I should be the one that takes her." He nods and Maya helps me up.

We start walking to the nurses office with her helping me until there was no teachers or anyone in sight and she pushes me over onto the ground.

"that's what you get for showing off you bitch!" She growls and kicks me in the stomach on the ground. I groan and she says "Toughen up, I guess I have to take you to the nurses office or else they will wonder where you went, but your still a pussy."

I get up slowly and she groans and grabs me and drags me towards the nurses office. When we get there she puts her arm around me which makes me blush for some weird reason.

We walk in and we walk up to the nurses office desk. "Hello Ms Hart, how can I help you?" She then says "my Ahh Friend... got hit in the eye with a baseball"

The nurse lady says "Aww no! Come this way, you can go or stay Maya." She shrugs "I'll stay" we then go into a room and grabs a ice pack. She gives it to me to put on my eye for 15 minutes.

She puts a timer on then leaves. Me and Maya sit in silents  so I decide to say "Why you here?" She then whispers sharply "To get out of class duh, now shut up and don't talk to me or you will be punished."

I sigh and I say something stupidly "Why do you hate me..?" She then gives me a sharp look and she says "That's none of your business, now shut up or else."

I sigh and I hold the ice pack to my eye and the beeper goes off and the nurse comes in. "How's your eye?" She asks. "fine" I reply and she takes the ice pack away and puts it back in the freezer.

She then starts putting cream and then says "You have a black eye but it will heal within 2 weeks. I groan and I say "Can I go now?" She nods "You have the option to go home if you like."

Sweet. "ok, I'll go home." They then fill the forms to say that I'm going home and I go to my dad's class. "dad, I'm going home" I say and he nods "You want me to drive you?"

I shake my head "Nah I'll be fine" I smile and leave the classroom. I then walk out of school gates and start walking home. My eye sight was a little blurry but I just made out my surroundings by memory.

I soon get home and my mom says as I walk through the door "What happened Riley?!"  I say leaving out the Maya part "I was hit in the eye by a ball  when playing baseball."

She runs over, being the over protective mother she is and starts feeling my face and she says "Does it hurt? Was it a accident? Please say your alright!"

I smile "Mom calm down, I'm fine". She nods and I say "I'm a little tired, I'm going to bed." She nods and she says "Ok, rest well".

I walk to my room and get dressed into my pjs and hop into bed and fall asleep.
