Chapter número dos!

I hope you all enjoy!

"You have a beautiful daughter, Sargent." The unfamiliar man exclaimed. I kept hold of my father's hand and tried my best to hide behind him. I didn't like being observed. Of course, they didn't know that my planet had been destroyed- or rather will be. I was finally old enough to comprehend what my daddy had told me. Old enough to leave that box. My father ruffled my hair.

"She just turned nine." He said proudly. The man bent down to my eyes level and stuck his hand out.

"Nice to meet you, Ora." I looked hesitantly to my father and back towards the man's hand. My father nodded his head and I shook the man's hand.

"Nice to meet you too" my little voice responded. My lips turned upwards just slightly. The man smiled back and stood back up to full height.

"Ora, you wait here." My father commanded in his strong military voice. "I'm going to a meeting. I'll be back in about an hour." I nodded and walked over to the chairs that lined the hallway. I sat on the chair and crossed my ankles. My father walked into the room. I looked around. A boy a few years older then me glanced at me. I waved my hand and he waved back. His eyes squished as his lips formed a smile.

I would know those eyes anywhere.

I quickly sat up. A gasp escaped my mouth. There was no way he was there. How could that be possible? My surprise had woken the Doctor up.

"What's wrong, Jaz?" It took me a second to realize that he was talking about me. My new body had felt like I should be called Ora, but I preferred Jazmine. So many questions went through my head. Yet I could only form one.

"Did you know a man, I think, they called Sargent?" I watched for any change in the Doctor's face. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped ever so slightly.

"Yes. Why?"

"He is my father." Those three words sent him into action. The Doctor threw the covers off of himself and ran to the console. I jumped off the bed and followed behind him, my silk pajamas flying around my ankles.

"Where are we going?" I asked over the uproar of the moving TARDIS.

"I want you to meet someone." He replied, quickly. I decided to help him as he ran around the console. I took my normal position. The whistle of the TARDIS suddenly stopped, as did everything else including all movement.

"Hurry! Go change!" The Doctor shouted kindly at me. I ran to the wardrobe. I checked the screen which told me the weather conditions, something I had the Doctor install. Cold. I pulled on my favorite pair of skinny jeans and a long sleeve red shirt. I found a black scarf and tied it around my neck, Sherlock style. I slipped on the red converse and applied a quick line of black eyeliner. I slipped on a pair of gloves and ran out. The Doctor waited for me there, all dressed in his usual jacket and bow tie.

"What's out there?" I was skeptical, even though I trusted the Doctor with every fiber of my being.

"Someone. Someone very important to both of us." The Doctor rambled. Both of us? There was barely anyone who knew both me and the Doctor personally.

"Come on." He stuck his hand out and I placed my fingers in between his. I took the first step and pushed the TARDIS doors open.

A foamy beach laid in front of us. The waves pounded the shore with loud crashes. The TARDIS was right, it was cold. I looked around me. There was no one here. I heard the Doctor behind me. I looked back.

"Someone is supposed to be here." He muttered, "What time do you have?" I checked my watch.

"4:56" At that moment, something appeared in the distance. I heard a door open and close and something appear in the distance. I squeezed the Doctor's hand and looked at him. My body temperature rose.

"Calm Down, Jaz." The Doctor commented, feeling the heat. "He is a friend of mine." I exhaled. The man seemed to notice us and started to run. He stopped farther away. I recognized him almost as easily as I recognized the Doctor in my dream.

"No." I whispered. "That is not possible." Without a word from the Doctor, I let go of his hand and started to run. I don't know how or why but he was here. The man opened his arms as I ran straight into them.

"Daddy." I whispered.

"Ora. My Ora." I stayed in his arms. I knew the consequences of this but I didn't care. My father pulled me away and kissed my forehead. The Doctor walked up behind me.

"Hello sir" he said, sticking out his hand out. My father received it and shook his hand.

"Well haven't you changed. You are so old." My father joked. The Doctor chuckled.

"And speaking of growing up." He turned to me. "Look at you, Ora! So big! Did you regenerate?" I nodded. I couldn't speak. Tears of happiness flowed down my face. My father pulled me to him once more. I buried my head in his chest. Soon enough the tears stopped. I pulled away and wiped the tears away with the back of my hand.

"How?" I asked. I looked at my Father but the Doctor was the one who answered.

"Time travel is confusing. Ever since I was a young boy I worked for Sargent, your father. He disappeared for a few hundred years and when he came back we were deep in the time war. The day before battle he disappeared for a few hours. When he came back, he knew what was going to happen and he told me that if I ever met his daughter to bring her here on this specific day at this specific time. When I found out you were his daughter, I didn't waste a single bit of time." I smiled at the Doctor.

"Thank you." I replied. This was the best thing someone could have given me. "Would you like to come in?" I asked my father.

"Yes I would." He answered. The Doctor and I led him to the TARDIS. The Doctor held the door open. I ran in first, bouncing with excitement that was very hard to control. My father followed me, taking in the inside of the TARDIS. He had one too so it didn't really surprise him.

"Would you like some tea?" I asked, taking off my gloves and scarf. My necklace jingled as the charm and jewel hit each other.

"Yes please." He replied, eyeing the necklace.

"I'll get it." The Doctor said, putting a hand on my shoulder. The Sargent's eyes followed that hand as it slid down my arm as the Doctor walked away. There was an awkward silence between me and my father. He spoke first.

"So were you okay growing up? Did you have a good childhood?" He asked. He seemed uncomfortable without the Doctor around.

"Well after you dropped me off, the Doctor found me and brought me to the United States. I went from foster home to foster home until I was sixteen. Then I applied for a living alone thing, that I was granted. When I was twenty, the Doctor met me and we have been traveling together since. Well other than one year, when I stayed in one place for a little bit" I explained. The man looked a little guilty.

"I'm sorry I couldn't give you a proper childhood." He whispered.

" It's in the past now. I'm very happy now. To be honest, if you never dropped me off I would have never met the Doctor." I said with a smile.

"And are you and the Doctor, together?" It seemed like that was the question he had on his mind this whole time. Conveniently, the Doctor walked in just in time.

"Tea is ready!" He exclaimed. I led my father to the kitchen and waited for him to take a seat before serving him his tea. I carefully poured three cups and set them on the table. I took my seat next to both the Doctor and my father.
