The Last of Us

       "Come on, we got to go!" Caroline grabbed the rest of the medical supplies and ran after Cassidy. "Did you get the stuff!?!" Cassidy yelled at her from up ahead, "yeah, but we need to run faster! They're coming!!!" They ran down the hallway as fast as they could, the screams of the dead getting closer and closer with every passing second. "Where are they coming from??? We checked the whole building!" The two girls quickly pulled out their guns and pointed them towards the shadows they saw emerging from a doorway down the hall. "Do you think they're dead?" Cassidy's voice shook with anticipation as she spoke. "By the way the shadows are moving probably not, but we still need to be careful." The girls moved down the hallway as quietly as possible. Caroline moved closer to the doorway the shadows were coming from."What are we going to do?" Cassidy whispered next to her friend. "To be totally honest I have no idea." The two girls slowly inched closer to the door. 

     "Did you hear that?" A voice from the room whispered. "Dude you're hearing things. No one's here we already checked the building, remember?" Cassidy and Caroline stopped dead in their tracks. "Carly we need to get out of here." She grabbed the back of Caroline's jacket to stop her. "I know, but maybe they have supplies that we need." She whispered back to Cassidy as she tried to inch closer to where the voices were coming from. "Caroline I'm being serious! You saw what happened to Jack. Those people didn't care to find out if he was dead or alive. They just shot him where he stood." Cassidy's voice grew louder. "Okay tell me you heard that!?" The voice from the room called out again. "You're right, there is someone in here." Cassidy and Caroline both focused their attention back to the voices coming from the room. Cassidy quickly pulled Caroline into the room across the hall once she noticed the figures moving into the hallway. "We'll just wait for them to move on." The two figures lingered in the hall for a few minutes but eventually moved on. "Okay it's time to go." The two girls quickly moved down the hallway back to their car. "Hey Car, when we get back to the house we need to change the batteries in the cameras so they don't die." Caroline nodded in agreement. As they ran down the hallway they didn't notice the two dark figures following close behind them. Caroline quickly grabbed Cassidy and ran down a hallway leading away from the car. "Hey! What are you doing the car is that way??" Cassidy yelled. "Shut up, we're being followed. Just follow my lead."  Caitlin slowly moved her hand to the pistol attached to the front of her belt and nodded at Cassidy to do the same. The figures behind them began to slow down. The two girls quickly whipped around and pointed their guns at the two people behind them. "Why are you following us!?!" Cassidy yelled at the two guys that had been creeping behind them. "We haven't seen another living person for almost 2 months...we were just wondering who you gu- I mean girls were." said the guy with shaggy dirty blonde hair. Cassidy eyed the other guy with blueish-green eyes. "Well as you can see we're just two normal teenage girls." Before anyone else could say anything a massive swarm of the dead came busting through the large metal doors."We can talk later but now RUN!" Caitlin shrieked as they all ran down the hallways trying to find their parked car. The moans of the dead grew louder as they ran closer.

Once the outbreak started, everything changed.
