~Caitlin's POV~

We ran out into the parking lot frantically searching to the guy's truck. "Where the hell is it," the guy with the shaggy dirty blonde hair called out, "I swear this is where we parked it!" The other guy quickly pulled out a set of keys and pushed the panic button, which triggered an ear splitting siren.

All four of us quickly ran to the truck that was making the god awful noise and climbed in just as the massive swarm of zombies came busting through the front doors. "Well that was close..." I nervously laughed glancing over at Cassidy. "You can say that again." The guy in the front seat said while looking at me through the rear view mirror. Something about these guys seemed really familiar but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. The guy in the passenger seat turned around and made a face at me. Not being able to place this guy's face was starting to drive me crazy, but then it hit me.

~FLASHBACK~

"Do you think any ones at the house?" Cassidy just shrugged her shoulders. I pulled the truck into the driveway and turned it off. "Grab a flashlight, it looks like the power is out in the house and I'd like to know if I'm about to have my neck torn out by a zombie." Cassidy and I made our up to the house. When we were at the front door I noticed that it was slightly open, so we pulled out our pistols and quietly walked inside. "We need to stay close together," I whispered quietly to Cassidy "we don't know if anyone or anything is in here."

We walked through the house quickly and quietly. We stopped suddenly when we heard a crash from upstairs. "Holy shit what was that!?!" I loudly whispered to Cassidy. "I don't know! But it came from upstairs."Cassidy and I quietly made our way up the stairs and toward the room where the crash came from. As Cassidy and I were about to turn a corner I saw a little girl was crouched down by the wall at the end of the hallway covered in blood. I quickly grabbed Cassidy and covered the light with my hand."There's a little girl at the end of the hallway." I whispered to Cassidy, "we can't stay here if she's up here."

I started to turn away but Cassidy stopped me. "We can just shoot her." she whispered "since you're in front of me you shoot her." She pushed me forward a little. "Um hello we aren't even sure if she's dead!" I loudly whispered back at her, "I don't want to shoot some random little LIVING girl!" Cassidy's face went blank. "So it's okay if I shoot her?" she whispered back. "Well it was your idea!" We went back and forth for a little.

But suddenly a dark figure walked past us. "I'll shoot her." The hallway lit up and my ears began to ring from the gun going off so close to me. Before Cassidy and I could get up and run we were pushed to the ground and had guns put to our heads. I shut my eyes as a flashlight was put in my face.

"How did you get in here!?" said one of the figures. "The front door was open; we just came here looking for somewhere to stay the night!" Cassidy frantically answered. "Well as you can see this house has already been claimed." this voice was different from the first one, it was more serious. "I'm going to give you ten seconds to leave or we'll shoot you both." My heart dropped. The voice began to count backwards from ten.

Cassidy and I quickly grabbed our guns and hauled ass down the stairs. As I was just about to step out of the front door I heard a gun go off behind me. It felt like everything was moving in slow-motion. The bullet hit the door frame next to my head, missing it by inches. We quickly got in the car and drove away as fast as we could.

~End of flashback~

My eyes widened as the memories came flooding back. "STOP THE CAR!" I yelled as loud as I could. The guy that was driving slammed of the breaks and turned around with a shocked look on his face. I quickly grabbed Cassidy's arm and pulled her out of the car.

"What the hell Caitlin?" She pulled her arm out of my grip and stared at me. "Don't you remember them," I yelled, "those are the guys that shot at me in the house back home!" Cassidy's eyes widened and turns around to face the two confused guys running up to us. "Why did you get out of the car?" The guy with the bluish green eyes asked as he walked up to me. "There's no way I'm going anywhere with you two."

I grabbed Cassidy's hand and slowly started backing up. "What's wrong?" The guy with the shaggy hair said looking even more confused. "Oh, you don't remember me," I said giving the two guys a condescending look," because I sure as hell remember you!" After I said this, the guy with the shaggy hair immediately covered his face with his hands.

"Shit," he said a little muffled, "I knew you looked familiar..." I crossed my arms over my chest and stood still. "Okay look," the guy looked up, "I'm really sorry for shooting at you...it's just we were scared and didn't know what to do!" The look in his eyes showed that he was telling the truth but I still didn't like the idea of being around them. "Let's start over, okay?" He looked at me and smiled.

"Fine" I said while rolling my eyes. "Well I'm Chase," he said while extending his hand. "I'm Caitlin," I said while shaking his hand, "and this is Cassidy." Cassidy looked up and smiled, "Hi." Chase nudged the guy standing next to him. "Hi, I'm Cameron." He said with a little wave. "Well now that we know each other, why don't we get back in the car?" Chase suggested. I looked over at Cassidy to get an answer from her, but she just shrugged her shoulders and started walking back to the car.

Cameron walked over to me linking his arm together with mine and started walking back to the car. I reluctantly walked back to the car and climbed in Cameron shutting the door behind me. He then climbed into the driver side and started the car, "So," He glanced up into the rear view mirror, "where are we headed?"
