CHAPTER 27:This Is It (Part 2)

Aiden's P.O.V

Today is my mothers funeral and the church is full of family and friends that never loved her, some that gave up on her and her gay son because I was a sin.

But as soon as her fame and fortune kicked in they were breaking down our door, always visiting just for the extravagant gifts she bought them , the houses , the cars , the clothes She even gave some of them jobs in her two fashion companies.

She told me that no matter how bad family treats you they remain family.

"I loved your mother so much it is such a pity she had to die." My aunt Clarice said rubbing my left shoulder.

"Oh shut up you never loved her, you are only here to find out if you are in her will." I said glaring at the vile woman who threw my mother out of her house when she got pregnant with me.

Daniel took my hand and gave it a small squeez to calm me down.

"And believe you me if you are in it I will make it my mission to destroy your life like you did to hers!" I said and walked into the church with Daniel in tow.

"How dare you , I will not be treated like this you wretched gay freak she yelled and got in her car and rode off.

Good that is one less cunniving scumbag to worry about.

After the pastor's preach Toni took to the stage to perform a song for my mother.

"This is a tribute to the most wonderfull person to have ever lived, thanks for all your love and support Aunt Brianna I hope that you are savely in heaven looking down on us."

Then the music started to play and everyone got silent.

"There was a home in town
The broken kids
The lost and found
Would come from all around
Just to see what love was all about
Because mamma had a way
Of making things okay."

I cried softly as I held on to Daniel's chest in the last few days he has been my rock, he knew how to keep me sane and I am so greatfull to have met him.

"She would cook us our favourite meal
And sit and listen to how we feel
Or how the pain was real
How many families would the devil steal
Because mamma had away of making things okay!"

Antonio continued his beautifull soulfull voice had everyone crying.

"And in that home
We knew we were safe
To be young enough dream
About the faith that you believe

And in that home
Love it had no end
It's where we learned
To forgive
In that home..."

He sang and the song came to and end and he cried softly as he looked towards my mothers coffin that stood before him on stage.

"We will miss you." He said as he touched the coffin and walked over and sat down next to Devon and the twins and he receives a hug and kiss from Devon.

After the church service my mothers coffin was taken the the family mausoleum she had built for us two and my generation so that our bodies and souls could remain together forever.

Above her coffin in her room in the mausoleum was one of her model photo's it was black and white and portrayed her beauty fully.

Toni , Devon , Chad, Clara ,Daniel and I each layed white roses on her coffin and left.

Even though they did not know her the others showed me their support and love and I was thankfull for that.

I thanked everyone of my friend for being there and gave the twins a kiss on the top of their heads and thene and Daniel took off home.

When we got to my house my aunt , my Grand father and my Uncle were waiting in the driveway.

Daniel gave me a look and wanted to pull back and drive away but I stopped him and got out of the car.

"Are you sure about this?" He asked putting a hand around my waist as we walked towards the door of the house ignoring the three evil people on the lawn.

I nodded and snuggled into his embrace and I layed my head on his shoulder.

"Now you listen here boy, I want my share of what she left behind!" My Grandfather said as he stopped us.

"Don't forget about us!" My Aunt and Uncle called in unison standing next to my Grandfather.

"And why would I do that." I said turning around to them giving them the nastiest look I could.

"Because we deserve it I am her father and these are her siblings!" Was the answer I received from my Grandfather as he pointed to the two beside him.

"Psh, you call yourself a father, you verbally and physically abused your daughter what father does that to his child!" I seethed.

"And you , you molested your own sister and then you have the guts to show your face at her funeral how dare you!" I yelled towards my Uncle.

"All of you disgust me if I was her I would have wiped you from the face of the earth a long time ago but she was too good of a person to but I will not be so generous!" I say clenching my jaw.

"How dare you talk to me that way you-" My Grandfather said lifting his hand to hit me but was stopped by Daniel.

"If you so much as breath on him I will break every bone in your body!" Daniel growled at my Grandfather still holding on to his arm.

"I want all of you off this property you are not welcome here and if I need to say that again there will be hell." He said dropping my Grandfather's hand.

I watched as they scurried off to their cars and drove off to the bucket of shit they climbed out of.

Daniel put an arm aroundy waist and led me inside the house.

"Thanks for helping me out there." I said and gave him a kiss

"How about we go somewhere just to get away from everyone?' He said embracing me.

"That would be nice but where?" I asked him looking in his blue eyes that always seemed to calm me.

"Well my mom has this cabin a few towns away and it has a great lake view and it is very calming." He said giving me a sweet kiss.

"Okay yeah lets do it." I said glad of the idea of just him and me away from all the drama going on around me.

We packed some clothes and we left town and it felt like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders just leaving this town behind us.

I don't ever want to go back to all of that but I have to , I need to meet with my mother's lawyers to go over everthing in her will.

But that is all next weeks problem this weekend is all mine and Daniel's
