CHAPTER 9: love survives

Antonio's POV

i can't breath..., my face is sore ...., i can't even stand up..... last night after i left from Devon i went home to tell my dad that i am gay and he beated the shit out of me he punched me in my face and stomache he then stomped on my ribs while saying that i am disgusting and that i am going to hell and i deserve to die.

He then picked me up and threw me against the glass door and i went right through landing on the hard pavement outside and he left me there and drove off to go to the tavern i guess.

i woke up with a pain so fierce i thought i would die and stumbled my way to Devon's house, his mother's car was in the driveway and i rang the doorbell, the door opend and all i could hear was a worried "oh my god" from his mother before i passed out.

Devon's Pov

when i got home i noticed my mother's car in the driveway which is strange because she should be at work thats when i noticed the blood on the porch and doorbell i opened the door and there was more blood on the floor now i was scared.

"Mom! Mom where are you!?"i called out as i went upstairs following the blood trail to our guest bedroom where my mom came out crying.

"Mom are you okay?" i ask hugging her she just nodded and pointed to the guest bedroom and thats when my world came crashing down. there on the bed lied Antonio's lifeless body.

"No! No no no, Tony please be okay please." i cried as i ran to his side grabbing his hand kissing him.

He didnt even budge he just laid there.

My mom took me in her arms and explained everything to me from the time he came here this morning till now and she said that a doctor was here and said he was fine nothing broken he just needed some rest and told me not to wake him till dinner time i only nodded and went to my room and sobbed myself to sleep.
