My eyes fly around the room, questions in my mind appear, "Where am I?"

A man calls from my right, "You are in a hospital. Do you know what your name is?"

I nod and answer, "My name is Emma Sharp. Wheres my boys?" I try to lift myself up, but the man tries to lay me back down.

"Emma, its not good for you to be up, you need to let your body heal. You were in an accident, do you remember the boat?"

The memories flood my mind, I was hurt whiles trying to get on a life raft. They told me I couldn't go and look for my boys. I tell him, "They knocked me out."

He nods, "Yes, you have some damage, but you are lucky to not have sustained brain damage. Just a few miner bruising, but we need to keep you over night to make sure.

My anger rises, "Where are my sons?"

His eyes find the floor, "I'm sorry, they didn't come in with the rescue team. There is still a change they were picked up by a different team and sent to a different hospital. You need to rest."

I shake my head and try to lift myself off the bed, "I can't, I have to find them."

He puts his hand on my chest, "You are in no condition. . ."

I shove his hand away from me, "What are you going to do about it, punch me out?"

He shakes his head and pulls out a bottle, "No, but I will sedate you."

I begin to cry, "I have to see my boys, I have to see that their alive, please."

The man sighs and slowly sets me back down, "Tell you what. I'll call some neighboring hospitals and ask about your sons, I'll get back to you when I've found them, I just need you to rest, deal?"

I slowly nod, "Thank you."

The hours go by like paint drying on a wall.
