Chapter 5

Channing’s Point Of View:

I'm sitting in biology class with a completely bored expression. The bell finally rang signaling my freedom. I walked toward Drama and saw Adrianna on the way. She was wearing a blue sundress that went to her knees with a white vest over it and cowboy boots. She saw me staring and smiled at me. I guess she got over this morning. I woke up, went into her room to see if she was awake, and she came out of her bathroom in nothing but a towel. She screamed and threw a blow dryer at my head. I caught it, but still. We walked in to Drama and sat next to each other. I smiled at her causing her to blush. I always enjoyed seeing that rosy completion come to her cheeks and it was so hard to see against her tan skin. That douche Chandler walked into class and winked at Adrianna. She then turned and kissed me softly on my jaw while flipping Chandler off. I got to admit, it kind of turned me on. He glared at me and went to sit next to that whore Jackie. Mrs. Williams came in and put a script on five desks.

"Ok I am going to put you in groups of three and for the next week your group will be rehearsing the script I left on your desk. We don't have an even number this year so one of the girls will be alone and will perform a monologue."

The class groaned but I didn't think it was gonna be that bad. I just hope that Adrianna is in my group.

Adrianna's Point Of View:

"First group is Mackenzie Dylan, Joseph Daniels and Jack Matthews."

Joseph moved next to Mackenzie and smiled. She smiled back. She's liked Joseph since forever. Jack walked over and smirked at Mackenzie and put his arm around her. She twisted his wrist which made him bite his lip in pain. Mackenzie would die before having that man whore touch her.

"Group two is Rikki Isaacs, Craig Radke, and Chase Tyler."

Craig was already sitting next to Rikki and kissed her softly. Chase walked over and did that guy handshake with Craig.

"Group three is Jessi Matthews, Noah Emmanuel, and Ian Blake."

Noah walked over and kissed Jessi on the cheek, making her blush. Ian scowled (he's always been secretly in love with Jessi) and earned a glare from Noah.

"Group four is Hannah Jacobs, Trey Summers, and Carter Emmanuel."

Trey sat next to Hannah and smiled. Jackie scowled. She's been trying to get him back ever since she cheated and knew he somewhat liked Hannah. Then Carter (who you know is my cousin) went over did the handshake thing with Trey and gave Hannah a small hug. He's like a brother to her.

"Ok last group."

            I started to panic. Jackie and I were the last two girls left. I sure as hell didn’t want to do a monologue and let Jackie be in a group with Channing. I would kill her before I let that happen.

“The last group is Adrianna Grace, Channing Martinez, and Chandler Harrison.”

            I sighed in relief. Jackie scowled and glared at me. Then she raised her hand.

“Yes Jackie?”

“Mrs. Williams, do I really have to do a monologue?”

            Oh my fucking gosh. She’s actually whining and her nasal like voice is just making it worse. The only person who’s allowed to have a voice like that is Fran Fine from The Nanny.

“Yes Jackie.”

“I don’t do well, working alone. Could you possibly fit me into a group of three?”
