Today was an off day,it was my birthday and I groaned at the thought,I'm officially twenty two.
Man I'm old why world? I just want to stay sixteen for ever, so I don't have to adult.
Like seriously, who likes adulting it's not fun.
Sighing,I force my self off of my lovely bed and get dressed.
After I took a shower and did my makeup; I changed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain army green t-shirt.
Pulling on my white converse,I was officially ready.
Grabbing my purse and my car keys,I head out the door.
My parents aren't home since they went up north to visit my grandparents.
I would have loved to go,but I'm the only person that can hold the Diner down for my Mom.
Martha's mother has been sick lately, so Mom has to be there for her.
So here I am,all alone on my birthday; I hop in my car and drive too Phil's house.
"Ding dong the witch is dead!"I sing as I enter his house.
I had the key to Phil's house he lived by himself, only people he trusts have a key.
Diana doesn't even have one,because he's scared that he'll show up and the house will be a train wreck with teens partying.
Speaking of Diana, she hasn't been talking to me at all and it's strange because we live together.
"Holla love muffin!"Phil says as he comes into his living room.
"Hi Phil, ready to celebrate?"I asked with a wide smile.
"Yes totally!"He says with a grin of his own.
"Let me grab my bag and we can go."Phil says as he goes get his satchel.
"Alright let's go celebrate bitch!"He shouts and I giggle as he pulls me out of the house.
"So what do you want to do first?"He asks as I pull out of his drive way in my car.
"I don't know?"I said shrugging.
"Well I say we go to the bar."Phil says and I turn quickly towards him giving him a look of disbelief before focusing back on the rode.
"Phil it's eleven in the morning."I said rolling my eyes.
"So the more time the merrier,to get wasted we have all day love muffin!"He says and I shake my head with a laugh.
"Are we going to pick up Diana?"He asks and I bite the inside of my cheek.
"She and I aren't on talking terms,right now."I said.
"Well I wouldn't either,if I was you but she's still your best friend regardless."Phil says and I nod.
"Yeah but I don't know why there is a stick shoved up her ass lately."I said shaking my head.
"Well I'm going to give her a ring and see if she wants to hang okay?"Phil asks and I sigh but agree nothing less.
"Diana you want to come and celebrate with us?!"Phil says and I giggle at his enthusiasm.
He stays on the phone for two more minuets before ending it.
"She's at Josh's house we need to go pick her up."Phil says.
"She needs to stop hanging out with that boy."I said.
"I don't understand either, I mean he cheats on her and she still goes back?"Phil says.
"He must be really good in bed then."He says and I laugh at his words.
"Must be."I said nodding.
We reach Josh's house and I see Josh throwing Diana out of the house,her face is bruised up.
Diana is crying, I immediately get out of the car with my gun.
"DIANA!"I shout and she runs towards me I put my gun in my back pocket.
Yes I carry a gun around,I'm from the south everyone one does.
Also my dad is a sheriff ,therefore I know how to handle my self.
"What happened?"I asked as she cries into my shoulder.
"He hit me."She sobs.
"COME BACK OVER HERE,YOU STUPID BITCH!"Josh says as he makes his way over towards us.
"Get in the car."I said and then we both make a run for the car.
All of us hop in and Phil locks the car,as I back out of Josh's house.
"Diana sweetie are you okay?"I ask as I drive a way from the horrid house.
"He hit me and he used me."She sobs.
"Okay you need to tell us these things Diana."I said soothingly as I drive the car to the football field.
"I know it was wrong but I thought I loved him."She cries.
"I just want someone to love me!"She says.
I park my car in the football field,the field where the Circus is on.
We always came here to sooth our worries.
We all get out of the car and I pop the truck up.
I lay the back seats down so we have some room to lay down and chill out.
I get in the truck and Phil,Diana piles next to me.
Diana leans her head on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry Maria I have been a bitch lately."She sniffles.
"I'm sorry too."I said playing with our hands.
"Maria you are my sister, we may not be blood related but you made your family take me in and care for me."She sniffles.
"You are a gift sent from heaven most kids would wish for a toy on Christmas,but you wished that I could live with you."Diana says with a light laugh.
"And my parents didn't care hell,they never care what I do not even that I moved in with some one else that is strangers to them."Diana says rolling her eyes.
"Thank you for being a good big sister and I'm sorry,for the way I'v been acting with Harry."Diana says.
"I shouldn't have done clearly he's been taken by you since he first laid eyes on you.
I can tell he likes you a lot and I shouldn't ruin that for y'all,I'm so sorry please forgive me."Diana says and I smile.
"I forgive you always."
