I didn’t look back. I just kept on running. For the first time ever, I was scared of Conor. At least now I know what Alex meant when we were talking after the party. I need to go see Alex now but I didn’t know where the fuck I was. I saw car’s up ahead so I kept running, my chest was heaving but I was too scared to stop running. I remembered what road I was on now; Alex was only a few minutes away. I started to walk as I was feeling light headed and so out of breath. I finally got to Alex’s and knocked on his door as hard as I could. I heard someone run to the door. Alex opened the door and relaxed his face when he saw it was me. I felt dizzy and was wobbling all over the place. He put his hands on my shoulders and I saw his lips move but heard nothing. He quickly pulled me inside and laid me down on his sofa. My hearing started to come back and I could hear my heavy breathing.

“Alex,” I managed to puff out, he looked at me worryingly, “Conor…he’s not who I thought he was Alex, he’s…evil,” a tear fell down my cheek as images flashed in my mind. Alex wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close.

“I told you not to get close to him (Y/N),I warned you, Conor’s dangerous, you shouldn’t be around someone like him, you’re too innocent and if you get involved with people like him you’re going to get hurt.” I looked up at him.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN ALEX! WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘PEOPLE LIKE HIM’?” My tone caught Alex off guard and he looked at me stunned. “Who’s the real Conor Alex? I thought I was getting to know him but it turns out that was a load of bull shit! I just want to know the truth.”

“You really want to know?” I nodded my head slowly and Alex sighed. “Conor is a good guy when he’s not with his other ‘friends’, they cause so much shit, they piss off the wrong people and they pay the price for it, Conor’s sort of in a gang…They’re not the only gang out there, oh there’s loads more, every gang hates each other, Conor got pulled into one a few years back and he’s changed, he’s violent around them, when it comes to gangs his personality changes, he has a split personality. You happy now? I told you to stay away from him (Y/N), he’s too much for you to handle. You WILL get hurt, you’ll get sucked into it all and once you’re in it, you’re in it for good…Take my advice, stay away from him (Y/N), it’s for the best before you get hurt.” I looked at him, I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say.

“I’ve got to go.” I got up and walked out of his door and ran to my house. Thinking about everything Alex had just told me. Conor was in a…gang? That was the last thing I expected to hear. Alex told me to stay away from him but I have a feeling that’s going to be easier said than done…

I lay on my bed thinking everything over and over again, my phone kept vibrating and I knew it was Conor but I didn’t want to talk to him at the moment. Not after what has just happened. Conor had kept this from me; did he think I wasn’t going to find out? I finally decided to pick up my phone and I had 10 messages from Conor

Text 1:

(Y/N), I’m sorry please talk to me.x

Text 2:

You shouldn’t have seen that, I just lost it okay, let me explain?x

Text 3:

(Y/N)! Talk to me for fuck sake!

Text 4:

Please don’t ignore me…x

I had enough and placed my phone on my bed, what did he want me to say? ‘Oh it’s ok, lets pretend it never happened’? But it did happen. My phone vibrated and I picked it up to see that Conor was calling me. I answered it.

“(Y/N)! I am sorry you saw that please just let me explain.” He waited for me to say something. “Are you still there?”

“I know everything Conor. How could you keep this from me?! I trusted you! You’ve fucked everything up just stay away from me!” I was raising my voice by each second. “I don’t want to be apart if your messed up life anymore.”

“Don’t say that (Y/N), I thought we were friends…I thought we had something? Has that all gone now then?”

“I thought we were friends too Conor, until I found out you were in a GANG! You’re fucking dangerous!”

“Are you scared of me?”

“Yes. Are you happy now?” I began to sob and he heard.

“Please don’t cry (Y/N), please let me see you, I want to sort this out…”

“There’s nothing to sort out Conor, please…just leave me alone okay?” I heard Conor swallow hard down the phone.

“I can’t do that (Y/N)…”
